9krpmrx8's Boost Build Thread
BOV from the vfad
Boost guage : T into the u tube above the uim
Boost controller : Greddy nipple before throttle plate ( if you want decent throttle control )
Vacuum manifold : throw over your left shoulder .
Oh and : if your diverter valve is partially open at idle - chances are that it will work well .

Off-topic: It looks like I'm taking my car to a shop local to me in Houston... I'm going to be a little disappointed if my car is back to running normally before you're hitting (serious) boost. The shop was book through tomorrow and after tomorrow they're closed until the 3rd. You better get some driving and tuning done over the holdays!
I use to be in the audi family. I had a 1.8t a4. I had the apr dv on that. It worked very well. cant here anything though
figures as I was on a stock k03 turbo I doubt you really would here much. I can flow more air through a straw with my lungs then that turbo

They're definitely a good company and produce great, quality parts. I wouldn't get their stage 3 kits because they're a bit on the conservative side and are based on off the shelf tunes, but they're definitely reliable and quality components. Like I said, I can't say I've heard anything about their blow off valves, but I know they make good stuff.

I think I might get most of the tuning done over the Holidays. I am going to stick with the Type R for now, money is tight over the holidays.
Shows what I know, I thought it looked pretty good.
9k if you need a bypass valve I have one i can give you. Its the piston type. I bought it from Summit racing a couple years ago, before pettit came out with theirs. Its all aluminum and works pretty good. I like the pettit one better, but to tell you the true i cant fell any difference.
Its a smaller piston than Pettit's and needs cleaning more often. But you are welcome to it.

Cool man, can you PM the info or email me on it? Thanks, I'd like to check it out, I still will likely pull the trigger on the Synapse but if I don't use it of course I would send it back your way.

OD wants to go back to his roots and go push rod
When I'm done with the rotary I think I'd have to go F22C but I may have to enlist my dads friend with that since he has a bit of experience with fitting it in his kit car. By then my son will be 18 and my child support will be much more reasonable
