Failure can be greatly avoided by taking a product that is well developed. When purchasing a cheap knock off you are introducing poor workmanship. I know I busted my *** to build my car with quality and I will keep it that way. Even when it comes down to the bov. Brett, I am sure you can respect my decision to buy a product from synapse.
He has a bnr upgraded turbo and he's hoping for 12lbs. So we figured better safe than sorry.

Oh okay, well I think MM can tune around it a bit but I am surprised he hasn't forced the issue to get the recirc fitted.
I am running a tune provided by Kane already, it's a base turbo tune but my AFR's actually look great running around town, the leanest I get is low 14's, and when I moderately accelerate onto the highway up to 4,000RPM I am at steady 12's. 90% of the time I only use Shell 93 from a new station close to my house.

What I find interesting is when guys are quite happy to spend lots of dollars on products that don't really do anything to enhance the overall package but couldn't find a few extra $ to get a decent turbo ,which is not only the heart of the system , but the hardest thing to alter later on down the track.

You do realize that any manifold boost pressure = engine load that is greater than WOT when NA, right?
Just something to consider when you are supposedly breaking in a new engine ...

Yep. Even if it had mileage on it before, the idea behind a break-in period is supposed to apply to each rebuild of an engine.
Either way, he has clearly stated that he is following a break-in procedure, so it might be good for him to be aware of what Team posted.
Is that true, Team? I know that you have WAY more knowledge than me on the matter, but it still seems weird that 1 psi under light acceleration is more load than NA WOT. If that is the case, I assume this would apply to all engines, correct?
