, All good possibilities. But actually it was an oil filter
It was probably good though, it was a long day yesterday and I was beat. Today I will buy a filter, do a few double checks and then fire her up.

SHE's ALIVE!!! muhahahahahah
She fired on the first try, no issues at all. I let her idle for a few minutes, the smoke never cleared, so now that has me worried the stupid turbo is not draining properly. The scavenge pump is working but it's ******* loud and I don't like the sound. I am worried it's not pumping properly and not evacuating the oil from the turbo fast enough, letting oil past the bearings.
I will call AMR tomorrow and find out what they think. Too bad I can't source another locally to try it out. I'll have to PM my buddy and ask him if his scavenge pump is that loud. But when oil burns is it white? I thought it would be dark.

Don't scare me man............. oil pressure is good, fuel pressure is good, coolant temps were good, idles fine. I do need to extend the wires on the MAF though.
Could your turbo center section be leaking coolant into the exhaust or intake? What about your oil injection system... would the two stroke if used in mass quantities create white smoke?
Man I wish you could have just used that great one way valve I found you rather then the complicated pump. Speaking of pump is the polarity correct on its ground and hot wires? or maybe the hoses hooked into the wrong ends?
Sorry if this is all stuff you have gone over before.

scavenge pump ? Who ever used one of those on a Greddy ?
As for the smoke -its is surprising how long a rebuilt engine takes to clear itself. How far have you driven it and did the water level drop or not ?

I am running a scavenge pump due to the position of the oil drain on the particular center section I am using, because it does not sit straight up and down. I doubled checked the flow direction of the pump and it is correct and is sucking oil out of the turbo and pushing it down to the pan and I am using standard oil drain return line so the hose is plenty big enough. I think bumblebeerx8 is right and that I need a check valve on the return side. I will pick one up today.
Maybe it just takes a good drive to burn all the crap out? I didn't rev it at all, I just let it idle.
