I'm taking a break to east some tacos. I just have to put the UIM on and then do a double check and then it's start time. I am actually a little nervous about starting it

Well, here is a little tip from 9krpmrx8. Do not put everything back together and the realize you forgot to tighten the bolts in that hold the clutch slave cylinder

Yes, I had to pull everything off to put the bolts in. I also can't find the little clip that holds the oil levels sensor connector on and it bugs me because I remember putting it somewhere safe so it would not get lost .

My back in done for the day so tomorrow I will put the UIM back on (again) and hopefully find the clip or secure it somehow and get this beast started.

I know man, I was so pissed. But I'm a one man show, if I had a second pair of eyes I am sure I would not have missed something so simple.

When they release the new RX car before you start your car, you're going to be even more pissed off!

lol--i know....
During the end of an install there are so many things flying thru my mind--it's hard to remember the non critical ones.
Live and learn. I only did it once and now I have a special tool that can reach that area from the bottom

I doubt that will happen.

I could have used that special tool, it would have saved me a ton of time

But honestly I am glad am not in a hurry because I have fixed some things while doing this that would have been a bitch to fix had I not done the engine swap.

I should have done that... But I was on a budget build, I'm going to be replacing some when I slap the turbo on.

I installed the UIM and was just about finished up when I realized the clutch slave cylinder was hanging loose so I had to remove everything to fix that. Once I got it fixed it I was done for the day so hopefully I can get most of it buttoned up tonight or tomorrow. I'd like to have someone else here when I start it in case I run into issues.
