I hope NA results are lowest priority. Those guys are already running with only flash.

N/A results are of only slightly lower priority to me because I don't have equal access to an N/A car.
I'll play with the N/A cars over the next few weeks.

Well, my turbo calibration is done.
It works.
Perfectly.

I can hit my exact defined lambda target anywhere at any load cell.
My idle is rock solid at 830 RPM, the fans come on at 195°F and 205°F and the OMP is ratcheted up a few clicks in all the places the Mazda was being stingy.
I've turned off nearly every CEL that could ever possibly bug me and I deleted the "CAT protect" range from the scheme.

Now I need to get an S/C 6-port and an N/A 6-port done and I'll have all the bases covered. (Of course, once the 4-port support is in place, I'll get those calibrations done as well.)
The only thing that will probably need to be tweaked for the Pettit people is the outrageous idle requirements (and the lopsided MAF readings). Other than that, the load ranges should be the same.

I'll find out next week what the delivery schedule is for AccessPORT orders placed presently.

fire the cannons?
Awesome to finally see this product in a tangible form, even if only via MM's hands-as-proxy. Has there been any pricing information released yet, and it sounds like it will be ready to ship with their street tuner software?
I remember reading a while back the software might be delayed..

Show up at the dyno in West Palm Beach on Monday and take part in generating NA reflash results.

NA 6 ports are on the to do list for Monday. I think it would be neat to add a four port. Anyone want a free four port tune? (and take part in making it happen)

So what boost levels is this stage of the flash good for? Are you turing the fuel pump on any earlier? What size injectors is this flash configured for? Any other details you would care to share?

yep. The key question here is how difficult it is to scale the map for various injector sizes. Can it be properly done without the car on hand just by scaling the values? If possible then the spread of this unit will be quite rapid.

And do we know the final price tag? Same as the subies?

Oh, I also wanted to know if you did any testing without your LS2 coils installed. Has that mattered in the tuning?

Jeff, i'm assuming your going to work w/ Phil for the Pettit kit since he's the closest to you. I'd like to work with you on this as well. If this is feasible, let me know and I'll PM you.

Hmmmm, we should take bets on this thread:

1. To see how long it takes for Pettit crew to bash Jeff for not knowing what he's doing.

2. To see how long till 50% of them make use of his work.

Am I being too cynical? Or just a realist?

[I] am a Pettit person and i have never blashed Jeff about his work. So dont try and start something up mysgl.
Jeff --good work and i know the maf controlled FI guys have particular requirements. Couple of questions on this --how strongly is Cobb/yourself going to standardize the maf pipe requirements(size, screen or no screen, true cai or not etc)
or will that be a part the system can learn?
Also how will traction control and the dsc be done---oem? tweaked?
Could we get one fan to turn on lower --say at 180F?
Can we get a faster idle than oem --personnel reasons I like an idle at 1K in my car.
Injector cut on no load?
fuel pump variability?
thanks

Yeah, you don't count as a Pettit person

I used the word "Crew" intentionally.

Wow, I didn't realize it would have OMP control capability. As Borat would say, "very nice!"

If they get 4-port support working, they can have my sister for sexy time.
