So Jeff what you are saying is that you can tune my car without even being here? You can read my logged data and re tune my car from there? I guess living in Canada is not so bad anymore :D

I actually lowered my rev limit because I don't need to go over 8900 on my setup to grab the torque peak in the next gear, so why wind it out?

Just a safe number. I figure there is always some little tweak to be done.
8 weeks is enough time to get it right, but not quite enough time to completely change your setup! (If you understand what I'm saying, just nod.)

Yes. I'll build MAF calibrations around whatever MAF housings I come in contact with during the rest of the development phase.
I have yet to make contact with Jesse and his 6-port Pettit and I have to wait on Cobb for 4-port support, but It will all come together quickly.

Correct. The more info I can get, the better.

$695 for the AccessPORT plus shipping. Includes a basic calibration for your setup.

The price on the remote remapping will be set in a week or two, but it will be inexpensive enough to be a fair deal over buying the software and doing it yourself!

Thanks Jeff. I'm in a holding pattern for now untill you tune a 6-port Pettit.

that's real good news MM.

i ordered the esmeril kit, and plan on getting it started with the int-x, but i would really much like to run a flash instead. as you probably won't run across it during your test, i may have to drive to AZ to have some tuning done.

all we need is an internet connection in the AP and MM can tune our cars while we are driving around . I can see it - he will be at the controls of 100s of 8s all at once . Just hope we don't catch him in a foul mood or it will be blown apex's all round

Lol.
Not quite how it works, but an interesting idea.

Tuning will NOT be in real time, so no wadded-up '8s.

Blown apex seals are another matter...

Something I have not seen a whole lot of information on, What does the datalogging look like? Does the AP allow a direct laptop connection for real time visuals(such as AFR graphing / gauges)? or is the AP only a datalogger for later playback and review?

I'd much rather be able to see a laptop's screen worth of information over cobb's 3 inch lcd

Jeff i just started a thread in the tech Garage about the awp and the vdi in FI engines. Thought you may have some thoughts on those you would like to share.

question to jeff about his program/tunes: what all setups do you plan on having a "generic tune" for? More specifically for my case: will there be tunes for varying nitrous shots?

Not yet. I've yet to hear back from the shop I received the AP from. I'm not sure if Cobb has provided the maps to them yet, so as of now, I don't have any further info.

figured he'd work on it with you, but didnt know if there would be some reason he wouldnt be able to so figured I'd ask him. Would there be any huge differences between the RB reflash and this since the car would be essentially stock running most the time?

MM,

So $695 for the AP. You also mentioned flying out for installs. What are your fees for onsite tuning? Hell being on the west coast, I should just drive to AZ with my golf clubs and give you my car for a week
