AccessPORT Alpha test started

I am dying to know if the AP will work for Canadian models.
I am almost willing to buy the AP anyways and if it does not work, simply buy a USDM pcm for my car to make it work.
I am currently driving my car without any EMS. It drives like stock but not very fun to drive like a granny!

I will keep you updated hopefully this week, I think Jeff said that they ship on Wednesday.

hehe. I scared myself waiting for the AP.
I pulled off my int-x and sold it. Then when I wanted to wash my car ( didn't like the idea of it sitting around dirty in my garage), I pulled off the charge tube to make sure it wouldn't be boosting. The car wouldn't stay running. It would start up then immediately die. After a while I got it to rev enough to back out and then I washed the car. Driving it back into the house wasn't any better. Smoke, stalling, etc.
I found out the cause, the vacuum hose wasn't connected to the BOV when I pulled the charge tube. So a week later I decided to start the car and see if it was better or not.
Lots of smoke and a very rough idle ... it becomes apparent it isn't any better. But this time I notice the AFRs. It's 10 or richer. Duh. Upgraded injectors + OEM PCM programming.
Long story short, I'm anxious to receive it
PS: Jeff, check your voice mail. You need to call the woman back by 4:30pm EST

I am not suggesting to shut anything down, but the AccessPORT is beyond Alpha testing. Would you want to start another thread, in whatever section of the forums you would like? We started another thread on our forums to follow up with end users that are using the device, the link is called Mazda RX-8 AccessPORT Calibration Reviews.
Just a suggestion.
Christian.

Damned.. hell ya, why you guys writing so much posts ^^
27 pages to read .. and i got not paid for
so ... my question .. does the car got a better mpg at all with the stage 1 ?
the performance gain for a resetted ecu with no LTFT is quite nice (I talk about one of the first dynos from march)
Are there any experience with fuel consumption at a bone stock N/A (just a drop in K&N with a Sebring cat-back exhaust maybe).
cheers
