AccessPORT Alpha test started
Jeff,
What's the deal with the AP maps for people with non standard fuel injector setups?
You have a bunch of maps setup for every possible combo? Seems like a lot of work to even cover the basics.

MM,
1).Have you done any testing with the RB intake? If so, does it wreak the same havoc on MAF calibrations as other intakes?
2).Can you also confirm that in all your maps the post-cat O2 CEL is disabled?
3).Am I correct in understanding that "end-users" can adjust their own OMP rates and idle speed from the AP without tuner software?
I am running the REV-I with Duct and the REV8 Catback on my 05. I have been waiting to see how the AP will pan out. I would like to ditch the OEM cat for Mazsports midpipe and an AP catless tune in the hopes of +20rwhp. Do you feel this is attainable?

Bad decision # 1, staying up to read this entire thread when I'm supposed to be at work in 7 hours.
Bad decision # 2, my landlord has waited this long, he can wait a while longer, right. Hmmmm, maybe not. Itching to buy, though.

Engine mods for that include K&N Typhoon II, B&B mid-pipe, Espeler Cat-back Exhaust, AP under drive pulley and lightweight alternator and water pump pulleys.
The car is on it's origional motor with 46,000 miles. Had a compression test at 41,000 with the following results:
Rotor #1: Test 1: 8.9, 9.3, 8.7 @ 296
Rotor #2: Test 1: 9.4, 9.1, 9.3 @ 291
Jeff has been working on a N/A flash which we'll be able to dyno the car with tomorrow and hopefully have some promising results to post.
Edit: Scratch that, the dyno time fell through! Next week then?

We havn't installed the AP on that car yet.
You guys need to read!
Didn't you get my last e-mail? I need info from you.
Yes.
None of the above.
Its kilograms per square centimeter.
8.9, 9.3, 8.7 kg/cm^2 is 872, 912, 853 kpa or 126, 132, 123 psi.
9.4, 9.1, 9.3 kg/cm^2 is 921, 892, 912 kpa or 133, 129, 132 psi.
He's got one apex seal on the front rotor that is under spec, but its not terrible at all.
They can be whatever you want them to be.
The maps I'm shipping have the first turn-on point at 190°F and the second at 205°F. OE is 207°F and 214°F.

When do you sleep, or even find time to work on all of this. You seem to be able to respond to everyone's questions in details, extremely fast. Its like there are 3 of your running around.....hmmmm.
Me, myself and I. Just ask Jung.
I don't sleep. I'll sleep when I'm dead.
