St Louis area 8 owners
SQUARE homie! I'm headed to Boston saturday, then driving to Easton, PA (1.5 hrs from Philly, and quite close to Chico, there's a chance I'll get to see him if we go to Philly). I won't come back 'till the next saturday. Unfortunately the reason for the visit is an aunt with ALS who isn't doing well. Almost my whole extended family is going. BBG you'll have to represent for me.
Enjoy your trip Fisher and best of luck to your aunt. Terrets, no I wouldn't pass that up.
WW8P6OLBJD = What would 8 pound 6 ounce little baby Jesus do?
Bill and I were talking at one of the autox's one day and a group of us started talking about the movie Talladega Nights and the dinner scene where Will Ferrel is praying to little baby Jesus. I mentioned to Bill that I was going to make new bracelets, shirts and what not to replace WWJD (What would Jesus do) with what you see in my signature. We started busting up laughing...had to be there to appreciate the whole thing.

Bill, didn't you say you were planning on getting a set of these? I only wish I could have these for this next event on Sunday. Speaking of which; the weather looks like it'll be good!

My wheel shopping has been put on hold and my money has gone to other more responsible things. Possibly next year. Of course now I'll have to pick something else.
I went in for that stupid ripoff that the government refers to as the "gateway clean air program" to get my testing done for license plate renewals today. I pull up and this retarded kid in front of me, who just killed the corrolla 4 times trying to pull it forward, asks me how many cylinders I have. I knew this was going to be good so a grin started to spread across my face as I said "None".
He asked my again, and I said none again. (I was going to make them work for this information.) The look on his face was priceless. He stepped back and looked around and walked off talked to his supervisor who then hollared me the same question to which I screamed back across the testing station "None!" No amount of explaining was going to get this across so the guy walks over and then asks me if I have four cylinders... sigh.
"I have NO CYLINDERS. It's a 1.3 liter wankle rotary ."
He asked me to pop open the hood and he looks in and shakes his head and just shrugs. To which I say again "I have no cylinders".
You would think that people who work at these places would have at least seen an 8 or 7 before but apparently thats a bit ambitious. I guess we pay $24, or whatever, for top notch service.

Lookin' good!
Anyone up for a crappy sub box removal and a 4080 install sometime next week? I need some hlep with the electrical because my sub stopped working a little while ago and hopefully its not the amp.

This weekend is no good. I've got DerbyDame in town. Sometime next week would be ideal, but I bet no one wants to get together after work. I might actually take the box out today since there's no reason to keep it in anymore.
Give me a yell. I can check out what's going on w/ your amp. I need to look into mine as well. I think I blew the fuse at the last race because I forgot to pull it when I took the box out. At least I hope it's that simple!
