ok nm looked it up damn man your lucky and your ideas for the s2k and 350z will cost you more insurance then you will want to spend
a wrx is not bad at all and if you get the right insurance company they catagorize the wrx/sti as an impreza and you get very cheap insurance. my 05 sti cost me less on insurance then my 01 is300 or my 04 rx8

Yea charlie shift boot and voodoo **** are yours, hope you don't mind there for FREE...figured ya wouldn't...the shift boot is black with red stitching and the **** is piano black, will look clean in your interior I'll have it at the meet up here for ya and we can slap it on real quick after we clean the rides.

so I saw that pettit has some sway bars...well a form of them...they are just for the front but are adjustable, and are suppose to work with the stock OEM rear sways. And are only around $150 so heres where I need your help guys, would I be better off to buy this sway bar that just goes on the front, a 4 point front strut or wait a little longer till I can get a complete set of sways?? I'm kinda a noob when it comes to suspension, I know the strut will stiffen up the chassis, while the sways will prevent body sway, but what do you guys think would be the better buy?? I've got around $200 to spend on somethin right now, yea I know I'm a poor college student. Lol

 

well you can always do one sway at a time. i am more of a matched pair type of person and i wanted the car stiffer all the way around. my rear sway is not quite as stiff as i wanted but the price was right and i figured i could always get stiffer later, but now that i have it i am happy with the setup till i get to track it and see.
the front alone will be a big difference as the rear does less for you. and if your rear is too stiff it can cause you traction issues on rougher surfaces. so it is up to you which way you want to go.

Don't get rid of it!!! Just don't do it. I had intake, front bumper, lowering springs, nice exhaust all kinds of stuff for my rx-8 then I sold it because im stupid. With the money I have spent on my Gen Coupe I could of had nice rims and probably a turbo for the rx8 and It would have been nice as hell. If I could go back in time I would have not gotten rid of the rx..

Yes I like it. I was hoping it was going to be a little easier to make fast but the stock turbo is stupid small. I just wish I would have kept the rx8 it looks better its smaller and I just liked it alot but whatever I guess. I have plenty of fun with my hyundai genesis coupe AKA New Tiburon. I hate it when people call it that.

 

Any of yall want an Exedy lightweight flywheel with counterweight? I just found it I forgot I even had taken this off of my car. I figured I would post up here before I make a for sale thread. I dont know what these are going for so I guess 200? Let me know guys! Give me offers.

dont know that it would make much improvement on an auto for me.

think im gonna take the plunge on that sway bar, i've been wanting to get into autox so that would give me an excuse, as it would make the rx8 quicker.

street yea when i worked at hyundai people seemed to talk this car up like it was going to be some supercar, so i think people had pretty high expectations that were more unrealistic or atleast with the people i talked to they were. as for looks i dont think they look bad at all, not really a fan of the rear but im sure a kit will come out soon that will have them looking great.

james thats not good, im gonna guess that since you said you will take a picture of it in a little its some sort of cosmetic issue, but hopefully its nothing to bad. if you need any help or anything just let me know

gonna purchase that sway bar later today. wanna get that gtspec 6 point front strut too but dont have the funds so i think ill have to wait for that one.

 

the front sway is kinda a bear but if you need a hand come on over and i'll help you install it.

grounding kit came in today too so hopefully i can install that shortly too.
