Just the stock greddy kit, nothing special. Don't even have pulleys or anything on it yet.

I actually found a fella at Speed and Sound that tunes rotaries. Had to get the AccessTUNE Race software for him though, since the shop won't buy the Pro version for him. My appointment is on monday, so i won't make it up to midnight madness. Maybe next time.

Ive driven by speed and sound a few times and there is a pretty nice 8 sitting outside there usualy it probably is the guy who does the tuning on them there, im kinda jealous of his paint job.

And ryan did you have LED's in your tail lights or just regular bulbs. and if they were regular any problem with not being bright enough?

I think they were just the regular bulbs but I'm not exactly sure how they looked since i was driving the whole time lol I think brett and charlie said you could still see me so i guess it was ok...I also did them real dark too...I think james lightly tinted his taillights on his grey rx8 too and looks really good

went and filed the claim for the hail damage to my car yesterday....$2883...THANK GOD MY INSURANCE COVERS IT!! and i dont even have a deductible! she should be fixed Monday.

Ryan imma make you start autoX with me. so start savin up some money.

rx8inSTL: yea painting can be a pain, i need to redo mine as well as the rotor hub area since its getting that rusty color.

ask ryan i've talked about doing that, especially with the middle of the trunk that back color, was gonna do that with the carbon fiber trunk and just leave that area carbon fiber. but decided to put the money into something else. it looks good if the rest of your car is agressive enough to set it off. with the rest stock, it doesnt look bad just not as good lol. but if you carry out a theme throughout the rest of the car using the smoked look it will look clean

I have a guy that will get it done for me pretty cheap so im thinking about it plus my paint on that area of the trunk is a little messed up. Im also doing a lot of black on the car other than the main color so im probably gonna do it, i just need to fine some nice black wheels.

I have an intake, and i tinted my windows to 20%. um i havent really done much to it yet because im saving up money right now to do an engine swap, im thinking about putting a LS1 engine in it. i want to paint the top part of my car black because i have the red and black theme going on. um.. i wanna change the tail lights to the new led tail lights on the newer rx-8. but yeah that about it i have pictures of it on my profile.. take a look.

in reply to sparks message brett has now taken his rx8 out to find the nearest tree...no just kidding, I'm glad things are workin out for you. In highschool I had an 04' GT mustang that the cruise stuck on and I hit a tree at around 65 mph head on. Didn't even get a scratch I'm a lucky SOB to even be alive.

everyone tell ryan to stop bein a ***** and autoX his SI!!

rx8instl: if your gonna do all that I say go for it. It will further set you apart from the stock rx8s plus I think it looks pretty good.

redrx8 welcome to the club. Good luck with the mods keep us up to date. Not sure if by the tail lights you mean the entire tail light housing but the 2009 tail lights won't work on our models. Now if your just goin for an LED look ceck out VLEDs.com they are comin out with a new LED for the tails.

yea I will prolly end up hiring a lawyer and fighting it, I was just wondering if that would be in my best interest or just pleading guilty and payin the fine. I was under the impression that getting a lawyer would prolly be better but I hd a family friend say I should just pay the fine+court costs and forget about it.

plead innocent and when you get a new court date go to that session and then ask for pubilc representation. if the officer doesn't show up at either court date then you can easily get out of the ticket. i have not actually tied this but i have heard that it usually works. when you are assigned public representation you can always hire a lawyer at that point and decline the public representitive.

So i cant bring myself to paint my tailights. I feel like if i do it something is going to go wrong with it so i guess im just going to have to wait until i find a set cheap hopefully from a wrecked car or something.

yea charlie is the only 8 i know about thats around there. you gotta make sure to make it out to a meet though if/when we have one.

rx8 yea the tails arent exactly cheap so if you are unsure about it, im sure a local body shop would be able to do it for you. dunno what kinda price you would be lookin at though.
