Thinking about buying an RX8 in your area. (I'm from Michigan.) I'd like to get it inspected before I make a trip - wondering if you have any St. Louis area dealerships that you'd recommend/trust to do a pre-inspection, including a compression test. Even better, if you had the name of a service manager/advisor that you'd worked with, that would be great.

I mean Lou Fusz has always been nice to my 8 but they will charge you for a compression test so I dunno Id recommend them tho

 

+1 and stuff. I think they'll ding you for a compression test wherever you may go.

masked there's a post of the previous page by james (twiztid) it's a huge car show and cruise that is more than worth your drive. It was amazing last year and seems as though it's going to be a better turnout this year.

wellthen, not sure if your looking for dealerships just in the st louis area, but my family is great friends with the Auffenbergs. They own numerous dealerships including a mazda dealership but they are located in Fairview heights illinois off highway 64 it's about a 10 minute drive from the river. Not sure if he's still the manager out there but if he is ask to speak to matt auffenberg, if he's not ask for jamie auffenberg, he's the owner of each dealership, if this is what your looking for shoot me a PM and I'll give ya some more info!

just do one yourself you can do it with a regular compression tester and get the same results minus knowing which face is bad if one is but if one is then u have to pull it apart anyway.

 

where can u get access to a regular compression tester does autozone or one of those places do it for free?

hahaha i laughed out loud on that last part lol Thanks to Charlies superior lighting skills I got my fog lights in today and I think they look really good there not as bright but the color is good...but the headlight lens' still look like **** but I'm about to "try" and restore them tonight as much as possible..we'll see how they look tomorrow morning!
