I went to the 100 acre woods rally. had a great time got pics of my daughter with Dave Mirra, Ken Block and Pastrana. had a great time, but couldn't help but think how much fun it would have been in the 8

Flooding/Cold Weather
Looks like I was finally bit by the cold weather flooding issue. Wife forgot the basic rules of her 8. Has anybody removed the plugs and been able to correct this in the area? Sorry I havn't been around in forever. New job and trying to make progress in a new company. Thanks for any help or guidance you can give me. Have heard the dealer rates are outrageous for a fairly simple fix. My down-sized economy is revolting at the thought.
well I have never had the flooding issue so I cant really help you but I know total immortal has and also I know there are some "easy" DIY's on the forum try searching for those. good luck!
yes I have had this issue, the easiest way to get to the plugs is through the wheel well by removin the wheel, make sure and mark which plug goes where as I believe two are diffrrent. As charlie said there is a very good DIY. I have the link but since I'm on my phone I can't pull it up. But I would try the DIY before takin it to the stealership they charge more than an arm and a leg.
made up for the night not with me and charlie? you must have passed out and hit your head last night!! nothing can make up for a night without the rx8 crew! and our comment was pretty damn funny
Sorry I missed out on all the fun this weekend. I'm outta town for training for my new job.
Starsky the plugs are marked with a T for trailing and L for leading on the plug and on the block. Also they are easiest to get out from the drivers side wheel well you have to take the wheel off to get to them. If they are not wet you shouldn't have an issue getting it started. Just follow the DIY on deflooding.
