St Louis area 8 owners
Ok I think it is time or some sort of a beer/food gathering. Maybe I'm just thirsty, or maybe I'm looking for an excuse to drink beer (not that I need one). Anywho, I'm thinking a brew pub? How about:
O'Fallon (I've never been to their facility)
Trailhead, St Charles (same)
Square one, Lafayette Square (cool place)
Schlafly brewery in Maplewood (cool place, right by me, Terrets and Ferret)
Growlers, any location (not a brewery but a lot of beer)
Opinions, comments? Dates?

Well if we're going based on proximity then O'Fallon, please! I've never been there and don't even know where it is. I like the food at Trailhead better than Schlafly, but I like beer at Schlafly better. Which St. Louis brewery would have the best scenery? Figure that one out and I'm down.

The below 50 scenery at Schlafly has been mediocre, not bad or good, the couple times I've been there.

You know, I'd be bothered if it weren't even close to true. It's crazy. I just got back from California Pizza Kitchen today at lunch and the women that caught my eye the most were over 40, but took great care of themselves. That's perfect! You don't have to wonder what they'll look like when their metabolism slows down at 30!

Side note, today I finally put 2 and 2 together when I saw a huge building with "CSI Leasing" on the side. Ohhhh, That's where Bill works! Yeah I'm not sure what goes on in my head somtimes. Maybe next week we'll get lunch and talk about our rice rockets.
So tomorrow do we want to go somewhere for food that has beer, or mainly for beer? If beer we can do Schlafly, or maybe Trailhead (don't know anything about it), for food Bill said O'Fallon is good.
My ideal situation would be to go to schlafly's get some good beer as a primer coat for the night, eat afterwards becauase the food, at least downtown, is terrible. Then let the beer steer from there.
Not to take away from the beer festivities this evening, but if anyone is looking for alternate options, Gateway Raceway is hosting Midnight Madness tonight from 9pm to 3am. Good times!

I guess the deciding factor is what we want to do. If we want a happy hour-ish get together, Schlafly is pretty good (Bill I guess you could go before you head way west), or if we want to make it an evening festivity we could really do it anywhere.
I need to head out west regardless. I have to take out the dog and get him to the babysitter and I am joining a new gym out in O'Fallon and need to sign the contract. I'm leaving the office early so I'll most likely be good to go by the time you all get off work. Plus, I have a nice two beer head start on you all. What else is in the Schlafly area?
Nick's pub is right down Manchester. Cool place for thursdays, not sure about friday's. The loop is right up McCausland (blueberry Hill, pin up bowl, the red sea, Cicero's (lots of beers there)), my place, Terret's parents house (woo hoo!)
I'll probably eat at Schlafly's. Not in the mood for cooking or fast food. I'll hit Schlafly's at 5:30ish. If I'm the first one there then I'll situate myself in the bar and get a head start.
