The Body shop quoted around $800-$900 to fix the spot, given the remove/install hours and prep needed to paint that entire panel. I think over half of their estimate was in removal/install time.

The dent guy charged me 200 for the dent in my fender, and another 100 to fix the other various door dings and golf ball sized dents I have collected in the two years of parking in school parking lots. I gave him a 20 dollar tip, so the total was 320. I felt it was a good way to spend some of my KENO winnings.

sounds like an AWSOME way to spend the winnings. thats not bad at all. for $320 you got that new car feeling again (at least I know I would) I think I will be calling him for Michelles truck.

Congrats on the dent removals keith. Im with Speed about your 8 being among the best looking here.

I liked the road but it just wasn’t on the same lvl as crestline. Two completely different animals. I prefer the 2 lanes for passing reasons and going down hill, the roads chamber would get inconsistent. On my car it was unsettling the suspension and on a few turns the fronts would get overloaded under breaking really easily.

Speed, on a few occasions it looked like your rear was getting a lil squirrelly under breaking. I could tell you were having fun.

fan man would be a great source for information on the JIC. This is the full Titanium version which is very light, and VERY expensive. If this goes for anywhere near 500-600, you need to pick this up.

I've heard the JIC exhaust once and it is a pretty nice system.

Yay yay, but where are your photos? Had a great time as usual and thx KC /Michelle for the tickets to the races. That was fun! And being the funny looking, bad handling 8, I was glad the run was a bit slower. And Detrich, if that run made your friend scream, don't take her on the Crestline run. And on a good note, I get to pick up my 8 tomorrow.

And more, Sorry i was slow on the way down but better safe then sorry and after all i had 3 racers in front of me except for viper and i dont even know what he was doing to stay on the road. My car seemed to be useing the transaction control on the way down on the corners and it was driving me crazy. On teh way up i was doing much better.

ok some more and they are all keith. I like the idea but i dont think i am a fan. But hey when you have the best looking ride you can experiment right? This cruise was a lot of fun and if you think about it was about the same for gas and time as if we did the Big Bear loop. There just wasnt that much opportunity for pictreus we need to explore it more. A suggestions is have a Rotorlution retreat say in the desert. Go up to idelwild and come down in the desert and spend the night (parties, bar, movie pictures what have you) I would do the run again but we should go to Hadley's and eat there next time (YUMM DATE SHAKES auughhhhhhhh)

and me, last set. Maybe the next meet before Sevenstock/ZoomZoom Live we can do it at night (photos) and prepare for teh caravan. See these pics although we do not have that kind of back drop we can be creative. https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-multimedia-photo-gallery-6/midnight-chicago-cruise-98615/

So what do you guys think about this style of posting, it allows me to get the bigger pictures up there? I shouldnt have even resized them but i didint know i was going to do this.

lol... its protected!. i park the galant in front of her, and i keep the window right next to her open, plus im a very light sleeper, so ill hear anything that goes on....trust me, id much rather have her in a garage, but at the moment.. no garage is available to me... so no biggie

dont worry, ill take you for a few good drives, and when i autocross her, youll get a few shotgun runs but youll have to fight a few people that already called dibs.

@Lesper4 - I like that style of posting. I may look into that. Imageshack loads quickly, and maximizes the picture for your screen resolution.
You're saying that one of the pics in the 2nd set is photoshopped?
If it is, you're getting better at it. I couldn't tell. If I had to choose one, the 4th pic in 2nd set looks weird to me, can't tell why, but it does.
