Speed...you have any time to do the spring install on Loren's car. I should be available any day of this week.
What days are you available Loren?
If it turns out that you are not available on the same day as Speed, maybe you could give me the keys and I'll drive it over to his house so we could work on it. I'm sure pizza and soda is accepted payment
. I do know, however, that you want to work on your own car.....so lets get organized.

wow, there is way too many things occuring on this thread right now...it is almost like we should make a separate west section forum just for us...then we could make little threads for all the things we do. It is definately hard to keep up with it all.
For me, just got back from a weekend in Vegas. I was happy to get the money back that I had lost last time. This was the best weekend I've ever had in Vegas. Cesar snapped some pics...and I think he has been hooked on fricken Keno now....dammit, Keno is for old people

dont forget everyone that I have free tickets to the orange show this saturday night. Michelle and I will be helping my dad give away t-shirts, and stuff like that. (I think we are giving t-shirts away for a donation to the ronald mcdonald house of loma linda) I dont know how much time we will be in the stands, but all of you guys are welcome to come and hang out in the stands. when we get time we will come hang out with you guys.
saturday they are running
ASA Super Late Models, this is what my dad used to drive before the race truck. should be the fastest cars there saturday. 3,200 pounds, 450 h.p. V-8's, 10" wide race tires, full tube chasis.

Late Models, these are a step down from the cars above, still V-8's though much less power, and heavier. non tube chasis. 8" wide tires.

Stock Pony, these are pintos, not fast but not slow, fun to watch sometimes. stock pinto 4 bangers, running race tires (not sure how wide.... maybe 7" or 8"). non tube chasis.

Legends these are the miniture 40's looking open wheeld cars, quite fast. 2000cc motor cycle engines. obviously full tube chasis. they runshaved street tires

Bandoleros these are the funny looking go kart looking things, dont really know how to describe them. they are slow and boring. (at least thats what I remember)

Pro Trucks I really dont know what this is, this is eaither a spin off of the trucks my dad raced, or they are the much slower street truck POS's.

this one is just for the fun of it. I LOVE these things, they are just about the fastest cars I have ever seen. they have something stupid like 75% left side weight, look at the engine how it lays on it's side and it is pushed over in the car to the left side. then right wheels are extended out and are VERY wide. the wings are even offset. everthing is designed to turn left on this car. they are amazing! they run on alcohol. mmm I love that smell. they go so fast you can feel a gust of wind as the group passes by. (from the big *** wings)... anyways, just thought I would share that with Yall.

this is a picture of the types of truck my dad raced after the super late model. this was when I was involved a lot in his racing.

here is a good look at what they look like under the skin.

Detrich, don't go this week....
Dealerships are getting SWAMPED and I was talking to my tech this morning and he says they're still learning the new Compression test tool and familiarizing themselves with how to properly perform the test drive.
He suggested that if you want a good test / inspection that you give it a few weeks for all the "the sky is falling" people to get their cars out of the way....

Keno is for Winners!!!
Next time you want to say it's just for old people, come back to this post for a friendly reminder.
Keith had 2 big wins. $668 & $410.
I had 3 decent wins. $142, $654 and the third for $751.
I was so excited about the 3rd win, I forgot to take a picture.
For those that understand Keno, what makes Keith win of $668 impressive, is that he was playing 4 cards 1 nickel each. $.20 to win $668.
I was playing 4 cards 2 nickels each. If Keith was doing that, he would have hit $1337.60.
Here's a pic of Keith's first win. 13,376 nickels. $668.80

Here's a pic of Keith's second win. 8,206 nickels. $410.30

Here's a pic of my second win. 13,088 nickels. $654.40
