see thats not too much sidewall . well... i called peter today and asked if he can get me 275/40/17

25.9 is the stock OD. the 275/40/17 are at 25.6. the 255/40/17 have an OD of 25.0 which i think is a great rim tire combo IMO. too bad they are sold out.

 

the 275 will be very aggressive. You'll definately have lots and lots of grip. You gonna get them by Sunday? RX8 Cup Challenge?

 

Looks like the RP super charger is making progress, 49 horsepower at 7000 RPM if I read all that correctly. There were actually testing the car out here in Rnacho last weekend, DARN! we missed it.

 

Hey rider, where did you get your billet grill from ? ... Are you gonna gonna sell yours, does it have a lot of damage. . .

the grill itself has no damage, i still have all the hardware for it. you will however need to remove the front bumper to install it. it's not very hard at all, it's just like four screws and thats it. if you have your front plate installed, then you will have to remove it as it will be in the way. and afterwards, you won't be able to put it back on unless you use zip ties to the grill itself. but that would look crappy on the 8.

as to where i bought it from, my car already came with it on when i purchased the car from the dealership. it wasn't an add on package from mazda, i had purchased the car used. on eBay the grills go for around $150 + shipping last i checked (could be cheaper now though, i don't know)

if you want, i'll sell you mine for $115

and in other news, i found a part time job. it's going to be for just the summer, but it pays pretty well, doesn't interfere with school, and it's better than nothing

 

We are definately going to have another calendar. It was fun to make and it is even more fun to have. As long as you rup for it Loren....my photoshop skills may be rusty by then.

Golden. RX-8 cup, is us at the auto cross track. we race for the RX-8 cup. (kinda just an inside thing ware we pass around a trophy to the winner. it starts this sunday)
