Yep.... It is just invoice. Better than a poke in the eye. I was happy to pick up an 05' in Feb of 05' for invoice, others were paying that for close out 04's.

I paid over for mine....but then again, I paid way too much because I had to get the damn red/black interior. But that is a whole nother topic of discussion.

You coming to Fontana on Sunday? If so, we'll see you there. Looks like we are not running in groups like last time. I'm after lunch. Did you check out the run/work groups for the TART event on Feb 19th...looks like I'm running and working first, and BS is running late in the day.

Notice how I made my avatar just a bit different from yours...just so we didn't get confused.

not that I want to get farthur off topic of the MEET COMMING UP THIS SATURDAY. (smooth huh?!) but how much did some of you pay for your cars?

Car - $29,xxx something ($30,000) mine is sport package
Payments - $533
insurance - $141

my car was the last yellow RX-8 within 250 miles of San Bernardino. (according to Mazda's online inventory) baught late nov 2004. if it werent for that, I think i could have gotten them at least a little lower. Bassically I paid for the yellow. oh yeah.... and that damn $2,000 NAV system! (which I now like)

Just a tick over 25k. Only add on was gap coverage. We added the wing after.

There will be another very fast driver maybe in an RX8 at this one.... A buddy of mine is out here from back east, 2 time solo natl champ and VERY fast guy. SO far he has not been able to talk Jennifer into a co drive in her car, but Barbara might come up from SD and let him drive her car.

Oh and for the first time in a year Jennifer is going to run a cal club event, she wants to beat up on me again.

I put nothing down, so my payments are huge (671.42), insurance is about what you are paying speed.

wow, didn't realize there were so many 8's out there that want to show us how it's done. I guess I will be happy again, as long as I don't have the slowest RX8 time again..... what class will he be running in?

Yeah, I'll be there. You can assume I'll be at most champ events... trying to get as much seat time as possible. I'll stick around to watch your group. Looking forward to actually sleeping in a bit on the 19th, we've been 1st group the last couple events and I'm not a morning person.

Nice work on the avatar. I wasn't getting confused, my car is the faster one.

He wants to drive our car.... We offered to let him run it in BSP in the 1st run group. He wants to run in PAX but that is after lunch and we are not going to hang around that long. If he drives Barbara's car it will be in PAX.

200gigs of memory is more than enough. A 256mb vid card is plenty as well. Which vid card did you get?

1gig of Ram is good and what processor are you looking into?
If you want the top of the line, you can get a dual-core system. Of course... that costs a pretty penny.
I'm on a 2.8ghz Pentium 4 without hyper-threading and it's treating me fine. I don't play games like Half-Life 2 or Unreal Tournament 2006, so I'm fine.
Unless you're looking into playing the latest and greatest games that require the most juice you're very well off.

And... I'm paying 320 a month.
