I'm not gonna be able to make it to the autocross thing tomorrow
I forgot I had to victorville, and my g/f works tomorrow. Normally she would take the mx-5 but the rear driver side tire has a nail in it and I gotta get it fixed. Let me know when you are going to the autocross again, practice, race or whatever. I wanna Go!

 

i think i am. i went to my gf's house right after the cruise and didn't end up getting back home until like 7pm only to pick up some CD roms to fix a friend's computer. when i got home home, it wasn't until like midnight

 

well finaly got my computer up and running after two formats and thousends of updates and installs.....I will probely get pictures up tuesday as my schedulw is packed till then. hope you all had fun in fontana cant wait to see the pictures and hear any stories.

Next Sunday in San Diego, at Qualcomm Stadium.

As for today, no fun runs....bummer. The entire time there were people arguing back and forth about fun runs, about sunset, and about breaking down the course and picking it up. Final decision was to have fun runs only if the last run group was finished by 4:15. Last car was done (on my watch) at 4:06....but they announced that there would be no fun runs..."start stacking cones". You should have heard the people talking about this decision. people WERE VERY UPSET.

I will post pics for those who ran in a couple minutes. Got to download them and resize. Thank you to those who stayed for my runs. I really appreciated it. And hope to see you guys next weekend as well. Now to get registered for SCCA so I don't have to pull the "hey, look at me, I'm Jason M." thing again. That was rather embarassing, but thanks again for allowing me the opportunity to run. Next item on the agenda is to get registered for the Mazdaspeed program and get those suspension components ordered. Then maybe I wont finish last by as much

Thanks to Casey for the video footage. Of course, I'm anxious to see it. As well as any photos your were able to get of my runs. I hope I went slow enough through that corner so you could get me.

 

It was fun, even though I did some unintenional drifting practice. Keith, you should get a calclub membership. With that you can pre-register for events and not worry about the event filling up. With just SCCA, you can't pre-register.

 

That is the most people I have ever seen at a local cal club event.... In the AM it got to where only SCCA or cal club people could get in.... Then after lunch they even turned members away.

mp5 took one for the team. We now know that an RX8 with no front swaybar sucks.

Bad news for the rest of you.... mp5 hooked us up with a mod worth 1/2 a second, check it out in SD.

sux you couldn't make it out to the meet on saturday jorge. i was the only black 8 out there! keith was riding along with erica this time. oh well. maybe next meet we can have 3 strong! lol.

 

The blacks were finally outnumbered??? Say it aint so.... We're usually at least 3 cars strong.

I wish I could have been there on Saturday, seeing all those pictures really bumms me out. Looks like I missed out on some fun times. How was traffic? Not stuck behind too many cars I hope?
