Follow-up dyno: Mazsport ignition
Before changing my ignition I did three pulls around 170whp
After doing the mazsport coils, wires, & plugs my pulls were around 180whp

I finally got some free time and installed the ignition solution this week but after I got everything back together, I can't get the engine to start. It turns over and I hear a few pops but it won't start. I checked and rechecked the wiring and grounds. I made sure the spark plug wires clicked. Before the install, I was having hard starts and the engine flooded once. I assumed it was cause of a weak battery and old coils (55k miles and the dealer never replaced them during scheduled maint). I replaced the battery, and when the ignition solution came in, I replaced my plugs. I'm totally new at this. You guys got any thoughts? And does anyone have a shop they'd recommend in San Diego?
Step one:
Double check that correct OEM leads go to correct input for Mazsport ig.
Step two:
Check that plug wires from coils are correct.
Step .5
Look at the big fuse when the ignition switch is in the run position; if you have a bright red LED, the fuse is blown.

You wished your car made less than stock hp then $600 coils made it bump you up to stock levels? Unless the car had new oem spark plugs, coils, and wires. It isn't a valid comparison.
Also unless it's done on with similar conditions such as same tank of gas, same dyno shop (elevation and calibration), same environmental conditions (humidity, temperature), the results are easily skewed by more than 10 hp.
Since this is a customer result and not a shop result, I'm more inclined to thinking it's not intentionally skewed. However if it had been a 185 whp before and 195 whp after, I'd be more impressed since that would put the before car in the "normal" operating range, and the after dyno in the above average range.
Also have we put to bed the previous theory that the initial dyno results might be higher because of a cleaner burn, and thus leaner AFRs till the PCM adjusts the LTFT?

Yes I've been emailing back and forth with the sale dept and all they say is next week we should be shipping some more out. Then when i dont get it that week, they say next week we should be shipping more out, and so forth and so forth.

As long as your order isn't shipped out yet, it should be ok to cancel it.
Even it's shipped out or you have it in your hand, there should be some return policy where you can ship it back to them and re-claim your money within a certain time-frame as long as the package is un-opened or the product is not used.
Well..ofcourse...unless they say it's non-refundable...lol then you're screwed..:P haha j/k

I don't really want to cancel it, I just want what I ordered. They are staying in touch with me, but I can't handle emails saying "next week it should ship out" and then nothing and more emails like that the following week. In my opinion you shouldn't advertise something on your website that you don't have. Or accept money for it.
Like would be like me saying I have a car that runs on water and not gas. If you want to buy one, the price is 1 million. Once I recieve the 1 million then I will create a research and dev team to create this car I speak of, and when I'm finished you get the product.
I once ordered a pair of shoes off Footlocker. I paid. Got them in a couple of days.
It didnt happen like this... I ordered a pair of shoes off footlocker. Footlocker then asked Nike to make the shoes I ordered, and then an undisclosed amount of time later, I still dont have my shoes.
Ok I'm done ranting... just very frustrated.
