The fitting I have pushes the hose too far back and causes a kink which would restrict flow to the pan and cause premature failure of the line. I didn't come this far to have everything get screwed up by that so I'm going to do it right today.

Yeah cutting it helped but it's just 1/2" to far out and cause a kink. I'm going to Taylor at 11 and taking the day to finish this bitch.

I found that mounting the DP before bolting the turbo down is the easiest

What's the best way to prime the turbo? Disconnect the ESS and crank it a few times?

Another day, another glitch. Got her fired up, started perfectly. And then...............

Coolant leak at the turbo The plugs on the opposite side of the turbo were leaking. I used Teflon and it was basically gone when I pulled the plugs out tonight. I replaced them with better plugs and sealed them with copper RTV. Now I just have to wait 24 hours for the RTV to cure.

The saga continues.

I try my best to create good juju, I am hoping it's just a test and as a reward from the turbo gods I will put down 400WHP.
