The stuff I used is copper RTV
We used enough of it to seal the leak on the Titanic
OEM specified. Highest operating temperatures for 4-cylinder, turbocharged or high-performance engines. The most advanced, high temp RTV silicone gasket available. Sensor-safe, low odor, noncorrosive. Superior adhesion. Three times more oil resistant than conventional silicones; eight times more flexible than cut gaskets. Temperature range -75°F to 700°F (-59°C to 371°C) intermittent; resists auto and shop fluids and vibration.
Suggested Applications: Exhaust manifolds/ headers, valve covers, oil pans, timing covers, water pumps, thermostat housings

9k, so I was thinking of your build as I was driving to work. I down shifted to 3rd as I went through the long tunnel. Motor was screaming. Boost was climbing. Exhaust was roaring. The lights in my mirror were getting smaller by the millisecond. As I exited the tunnel on this cool morning I could not wipe the smile off my face.

Dude, I dream about it daily
I can't wait. I was so tempted to finish up last night and fire her up. But I want to make sure that damn RTV is cured well. It's a good thing I love wrenching and have had my homies to help out, otherwise I would have lit the damn thing on fire and pushed it off a cliff

Well I think I have just about everything covered in terms of the turbo except the EBC and Synapse BOV (I'll run the Greddy for now). I need to install the turbo timer and PLX wideband this weekend too.

She's alive, purring like a kitten, no leaks, perfect idle
I almost ran out of gas though letting her idle and burn off all the junk
, I didn't realize I was about on empty when I parked her.
It's too late to put the wheels and bumper on so I'll do that tomorrow and go fill her up and go for a spin
