I say we should meet at the Starbucks downtown..close to Fountain Square, early in the morning and drive over to Paul Brown Stadium and take some wicked awesome shots there!

There aren't really any good spots around paul brown to get multiple cars in the shot. Most of the area around it is under construction to boot.
I say we meet where i took my last set of downtown pics. Under the Roebling on the Ky side. Plenty of space and plenty of background. We can move to a garage or parking structure from there if we want.

So Lucy went to King's Mazda this morning and look what I traded her in for!!!! 
Think I am very happy right now? Can you say needs a new transmission? How can Enterprise for a moment think a person with an 8 wants to drive this POS???? Not Happy. Tears were shed
Guess there are only two trans available right now, both located in Canada so after the warranty person gets done looking at it and blessing it for coverage I am going to try to get her back and ditch the soccer-mom-mobile, aka it's a vagina not a clown car, until the parts come in then maybe I will get a hint of fortune and get something other than this monster to drive. I am full of pure shame atm and wish I could hide at home and not be seen in this thing. On a plus note I could get a great deal at the $15 a carload drive-in movie theater, who's in? lol

I had mine in to get synchros replaced, and they gave me a Town and Country. A 23 year old takes his sporty-*** car into the shop and gets the biggest minivan ever. Luckily, I finally had a place to put all my kids.

Kytten, make sure you don't hit the rev limiter in the mini-can. It doesn't hit 9K, but I hear they do wicked burnouts if you drop it in drive at 5K.

Not sure, but in Covington where the old TGIF was docked there's a semi-circle turnaround there. Another place is Devou Park. Problem there is sun could be coming in directly behind the cars. Not good. I need to check sunrise tables and azimith data for locations facing Cincy early AM on the 15th.
You could lose a kid in the Store'nGo seats.

The old circle where TGIF was docked is pretty much exactly where i'm talking about, just down the hill along the bank. The circle works too and shouldn't be too busy. Sunrise hasn't been until around 7:00, so we don't have to be there too awfully early.
Edit: looks like the sun will be slightly behind us from sunrise on if we shoot towards the river and downtown from the banks

Might have some issues with sunrise coming directly into the camera at that time of day. The lines on the picture show the shadow angles. 9AM is the far left line, which means everything to the left of the line is in shadow. So you have to compensate for the backlighting and expose for the cars, but the city will be washed out, unless you want to do a lot of photoshop magic and combine 2 or more exposures by bracketing a lot of shots. But I'd expect some glare hitting the lenses and that's not good.
You get too much later and you have to deal with people/traffic and probably Covington's finest.
Of course, it could be raining that day and shadows don't matter. The way they've been forecasting lately, it's anyone's guess what it'll be when you get up in the AM.

I was planning on going to Fuel after the shoot, but i can manage starbucks i suppose. Parking around it will be a pain in the *** though. Hopefully i'll remember my wife's 5/3 pass so i can park in the garage by the square.

We could always go down to the west side of RiverBoat between Taylor Southgate Bridge and Hooters/Beer Cellar. We'd be shooting northwest at the city instead of northeast. It's only a few minutes away, so we can judge light and decide on one or the other if we get there early enough. 
Kevin, she said she saw you at Mid-Ohio. She was maybe being a little anti-social due to not seeing The Dempsey, I can't say for sure! Probably just that she was headed off to do something. I think she did enjoy herself, and she said her daughter did too (which kind of surprised me as she wasn't too thrilled the time she got dragged to an autocross).

That would be a better plan except the Purple People Bridge gets in the way a lot. I think you can get to the left of the bridge early enough in the AM. Sometimes they have that blocked off to traffic with some plastic Jersey barriers. If someone can check it out some morning, that would be great. I checked Newport events for that weekend and it looks open.

I was in the paddock up on the second tier at M-O when I shot this.

New transmission on it's way from Canada!!!!!!! What else can go wrong on this car? I think we should have a pool on what goes next. - but Durbin can't play because that would be cheating
Went and shed tears at the car rental and traded out the minivan - suspect I won't get Lucy back until Tuesday...damn it!!!! Wanted to roll some fenders
