Kytten, it's even the right color!

It looks like I might be getting home a day or two sooner than I thought. So it is possible you will see me at Fuel on the 8th. A lot will depend upon the mood of my significant other and just what day/time I do get in. If all goes well I will make it to the autocross that Sunday, but if not then I will be at the one on the 23rd. Doubt I'll have the new 'charger installed by then but you never know!

Got my 8 back. The connections on the starter were corroded so they pulled it off and cleaned it but still wouldn't start. Turns out I fouled up my spark plugs so they weren't sparking. There's some carbon build up due to me not running it hard lately on top of that. But it's back with new plugs and running like a champ. So that's all I can ask for for now.

Good to hear it's back on the road. Did that finally fix your damn abs/tcs/dsc crap too?

Nope lol.

I do plan on doing a seafoam in the near future if someone would like to help...cough...kevin...cough, even if you haven't done it before.

On a side note my car smells richer than ever. I think I may have pissed some people off but I was too far down the road before they had a chance to complain.

I'm moving in about a month and will have the space to do it, but probably won't do mine until i pull it out of hibernation in the spring. I may be persuaded to do it earlier though.

I'd love to do it on mine as well, but will be gone from 10/8, and won't be back till 11/1, so if you guys do it in spring, I'm in!

Meh, as long as the neighbors and wife don't care, we can do it whenever you feel like after your return. My new pad will be nice because it's not in a development, so most likely the cloud of smoke will go un-noticed. You can't even see any of the neighbors from the porch.

Glad you got your baby back. Did you go through withdrawals? I am dying w/o my girl, didn't know what a snob I was about my car until now, lol.

Definately went through some withdrawal, especially when I had to ride my bike in the rain.

I had to do that here! Not fun at all! Kinda scary when you are on the highway going 60 and it is just pouring!

I've ridden a bike on the freeway in the snow. Luckily not for too long. I also (in my younger days) rode when it was so cold that it took me 10 minutes for my hands to warm up enough to unzip my fly. Never again. Rain doesn't bother me if there aren't too many cage drivers around.

I dont mind riding when it is cold. But when it is 115 and 150ish on the asphalt and more from the engine..not fun at all when you are sweating like crazy! I love riding when it is cold!

Too bad I recently sold my bike. I do miss it, but I want a newer one. 07+ CBR1000RR or R1

Okay, long-distance troubleshooting. Wife says her 8 wouldn't start yesterday so had to be jumped. Once it was running, she had the CEL, TCS, TPMS and low coolant idiot lights lit. Any ideas?

turn key to on, do not start car. turn wheel all the way to the right, then all the way to the left. turn off car

This is what reset many of my lights when my battery died last week...at least the TCS

Good luck
