Just so everyone knows I'm getting coilovers within the next month. My stock shocks/springs are done. Let's just say today is the day I noticed that my left rear wheel has zero wheel gap and the right rear has barely 2 fingers and the fronts still look stockish so they're well on their way out.

Probably Bilstein PSS9s. I've heard good things about them and only cost a couple hundred more than the Stance GRs that I was looking at. However the PSS9s are progressive rate springs and the Stance GRs are linear so I'm having that debate in my head as well.

You had to bring that up didn't you dude?

LOL...So tell us how that went for you? Was it as good as you had hoped for or did she leave you unsatisfied and wanting more? I heard you went rough on her but couldn't finish so you want to keep her another !@#$% week!!!!
Guess it was your turn to blow my transmission....you better be blowing something of mine other than my $$$ Okay, breath, breath, it will be okay, I will get my 8 back some day, maybe...

Did I mention I hate driving a rental? An automatic at that with no bass pumping techno, my life sucks.

When I tell Lucy to assume the position this is what I get...

No really, I love my mechanic but despite his best efforts Lucy is indeed the red headed step child of the model year I am afraid. If it can break, it will break... I am just glad he caught on to how quickly it breaks, like as soon as you install it

Now that the tarded is out of my head, Progressive is what you want for comfort. Linear is better for the track, but rougher on the road. I don't know why i struggled to articulate that last night

Yes, unfortunately for you we are.

I stopped down to the spot on the NP on the Levy last night. As far as i can tell, they have access to that lower lot blocked off. Well at least from the east side of it. I think the only open it for vendors and such now during festivals

So, if the sun sucks at the original location, i have a couple other ideas. We can get some shots down in a couple of the alles. I know of a couple that would probably make for some decent shots.

My other thought is over at Longworth Hall, We can get some graffiti/mural shots and we can get right up by the building if we want some shots like that as well. All in all, it could be a good place. Thoughts?

Yes I work at Kings Mazda. So if you guys need help or have any questions get ahold of me.

As for the Rotary meet I have tried numerous times to organize an event. Injuries and personal events for my co-workers would have left me w/o a suitable tech presense at the meet. I will keep on planning as I can but I think many of you maybe putting ur Rotaries away for the winter. But give me some feedback and I'll see what I can do.

Tech: I'm one of the one who put the car away for the winter. Actually it will probably go into hibernation around Halloween. I have stuff i want to get done over the winter, so i might put it away and get started while we still have a few warm days. Maybe we can get a spring event organized.

Wife reports no warning lights on in her car, so I don't have to worry about that.

Kevin as long as I know ahead of time the location I'll be there for the shoot. I just need to be able to get directions (lived in the area a lot of my life, I can tell you a bunch of the back roads but I get lost downtown).

So without my own 8 I am stalking other peoples now...anyone on here moonlighting in their "freaky fast" 8 to pay for maintenance costs? I coveted your rear rotor accent as I went by today since mine went MIA.

I might have to order a samich from there just to hope I can score with getting it delivered in style

I need to get a life...every 8 I see reminds me of her I need to find an 8 to get a sympathy hug from.

Sure will Chief. We just need to get the spot ironed out.

That said, do we still want to shoot for the ky side under the roebling, or do we want to look at downtown options?

BB, I love that spoiler. I tried to get the wife to let me put a similar one on hers (think I showed her the one on NYCdriftking's) but she likes the factory one.

Jimmy John's offer freaky fast delivery. Now we know why.

I'm in SoCal, specifically in Palm Desert for a week. The wife and I went to a grocery store this afternoon. In the parking lot when we came out were the following:

Porsche Panamera S
Nissan GTR
BMW M3
Mitsu Evo
Oh, and our rental, a Buick LaCrosse. A highway cruiser to the extreme. Cool backup camera on the GPS screen, which is huge. Gee, you go to Krogers in Landen and all you see is minivans and pickups.

Last night in Vegas on Las Vegas Blvd a Galardo and Ferrari 599 were quasi-dragging down the Strip. Mostly hi-rev engine racing, but it sure sounded good.

I'd prefer not, I'd like to keep it just us. The more cars we have, the longer it will take and more difficult it becomes. Not to mention their site is still down. If the rest of the crew wants to invite them I'll live.

BB8, that's gonna look good dude

If you all want Longworth's, I'm more than fine with that. I don't have any shots from there.

As of right now, 8:21 AM, the sun is about at half mast and it looks like it would be shining directly beside us if we were in Covington. This would probably be difficult lighting to shoot in.

An update on Senna.

It has been moved to Mariemont Theatre. Still the same dates, but I don't have show times yet.

I understand. My car will probably be in the shop anyway so have fun. The guys actually have a Facebook page they are using since the site it down and were wanting to get together either the 8 or 15 at Rotary Park which is why I asked.

BTW, I have no clue WTH Longworth Hall is, only seen it in pics, and looks pretty cool, and we wouldn't have to worry about too many other people ruining the scene. My two cents.
If Longworth doesn't have a problem with a bunch of cars showing up in the AM, I'm OK with it. Since their parking is private, I think we may have to get clearance first. People get antsy about this crap sometimes.

I'll try to give them a call Monday morning to be on the safe side.

Kytten,
I've don't have a facebook account anymore, so i'm not likely to see any updates until the site is back up. I probably wouldn't make it up to rotary park regardless of what day it is. Hopefully you get Lucy back soon
