Oh, you're talking about the dip at the very end.
That's where he lifted the throttle. That is normal.
He's not at WOT until 4500 RPM or so.

My LTFT is sitting at +14, my STFT is +-1 at idle. As soon as it hit the throttle the LTFT also drops to +-1 and pretty much stays there if I'm just cruising. I still have my Racing Beat intake on which is comming off this weekend. My fuel pump is also needing to be replaced. These combined might be why my LTFT is so far to the +. The AFR's I've seen so far look good. I've driven about 25 miles on this flash. I'm going to take it to work tomorrow and see if it comes down. If not, I'll load the v1.5a file and see what happens.

Oh, and MM, the wiggle-shove works. I haven't had one comm. error yet.

Yeah, try one of the "a" series files.
You might want to go to "3a" before you go all the way to "5a", even though you have a lot of LTFT.
Its all in the wrist!

Dear Jeff,
I've been on 1_0 for the last couple days. About 100km driven. Initially when I flashed the map and watched the STFT as instructed I saw about -4. Over the past couple days the LTFT is 4 and STFT is pretty much 0. Sometimes 1, sometimes -1.
So that's quite a change over a couple days. While I drive i usually see negative numbers but sometimes see positives on light load, up to -5 and 5 respectively. Should I be flashing to 1_2a?

hmm, well from what i have read, is that the PCM makes a cycle, and in the cycle the PCM views the engine as if it were standing still (from its fast computing abilities) and is able to make changes based on the O2, TPS, MAF and other sensors and then "schedule" the time of injector pulse width, and the spark. now since the PCM can make those adjustments so fast, that it can detect the throttle back down and in turn cut the fuel based on the map supplied for load, why would it still have that little dip at the throttle back off?
i know what your doing is correct, i am just overthinking, and learning the ways of tuning.

Because the MAF continues to show airflow for a small amount of time after the throttle is released and, since the engine is at high RPM and just came off of high load, it continues to fuel for a cycle or two to prevent bucking.
okay just paid through paypal. one thing i forgot to say is that i have the stock intake (which i guess you could assume because i didnt mention any aftermarket intake).
please tell me i made it in this weeks round of shipments?
