...maybe i should just take the week off and start driving now to Az to pick mine up

mysql 03-10-2008 05:53 PM

hmmm, my size is 380/380/650 :(

Being off by 0.1 AFR isn't a big deal...

NaarLeven 03-10-2008 05:57 PM

I currently pre mix about 7oz in with about 14 gallons at every fill up(as recommended by Idemitsu).

With the OMP (per the new flash) pumping more oil into the engine, will I need to change the amount I premix?

drifter_d 03-10-2008 06:39 PM

Excellent thread.

tdiddy 03-10-2008 07:03 PM

How about the MAF calibrations. I have a 380/380/720 injector setup so there is an injector calibration that will work but I am more worried about the MAF calibration. How do I know that I have the correct MAF calibration selected? What data should I be monitoring besides LTFT/STFT?

?? Did you change something?
The injectors I put in the P2s were 735cc according to the flow bench.

I'm only using 4oz to just cover my bases, as per RG who has acutely surmised that the third oil injector nozzle on the '09 models is to cover parts not well lubricated by the two nozzles we all have.

lol. No f-ing way I'm changing anything in there. If you say they're 735, then they're 735. I could have sworn you told me you installed 650 cc though. Also the gt3071r page lists 650 cc as the only injectors you sell.

mysql 03-10-2008 08:00 PM

Confusion? I just got an extra 160 cc in my car for $0. I'm happy. ;)

No doubt. Hopefully, I'll have news for you (and all of the 4-port people) very soon.

See! I said "4-port" not "autotragic"!

Oops.

NaarLeven 03-10-2008 08:21 PM

I think autotragic is more apt however :-D

You just made my day with this MM! And hey I take no offence to Autotragic, someone has to fluff the bottom line for 8 sales :mdrmed:
I'm assuming the basic moving up the redline for the auto's will be possible?

Jeff,
I headed down this path on another thread but wanted to follow up here. Non-AP files are being generated. Is there a method to "import" non-AP files so an AP owner could try different tunes (non AP)?

MazdaManiac 03-11-2008 12:24 PM

If you wanted to do it manually.
I keep my files as Excel spreadsheets. That way I can cut-n-paste them into different files easily.

SkyLee 03-11-2008 01:16 PM

i just order the Cobb AccessPORT thanks jeff

Is there something like an import generic bin image that can get people by until the single seat AP software is available?

I doubt it.
Why don't you just post up your fuel tables so I can compare them?

You're picking on us again. Some day the upgrades will come for the 4port a/t people first so the rest of you can standby an wait.

Probably more like a paper weight for the 4 port a/t flash results. I think it's the X that is holding his can of NAAAAWS from falling.:)

For those that go via UPS, yes (which is most of them).
Some will go USPS and some FedEx. It depends on who is the fastest for the money and allows full insurance at a reasonable rate.
You will also receive another copy of your invoice.

Great, sounds like a busy day for you tomorrow.
