Thanks, bout sh#%ed on myself when saw that...Yeah hope my AFRs @ higher rpms start to settle down after a couple more drive cycles, bit to rich for me...

Jeff is making me a new map for 380/380/730 injectors. I'll try it out tomorrow. If we can get it close to high 10's, low 11's at 10 psi, I'll be scheduling a dyno run soon after. I was going to wait for the CAI... ahhhhhh! I should wait till my car is in it's "final" setup so I know the numbers my car really makes. I guess I'll wait. Damn, I hate waiting.

just got back from test driving the car. just flashed using the files Jeff sent me, that's it! everything is pretty much perfect. MM 2004 MT TURBO v3_0.ptm is all i had to load up.

STFT: -1%
LTFT: -6%
AF: 14.7 @ idle. ~11.2 through majority of the power band

starts up perfectly, idle is smooth, and the turbo doesn't just kick in abruptly. car feels great!

thanks Jeff and Cobb

That's not true if you look at idle.

I drove mine for a day and it read zero STFT LTFT, however on load it was very lean.

afaik those adjustments are for idle and cruise type stuff. WOT is unrelated, that's determined by your 'stage' selection.

Yep, a positive sum of 1.5 means slightly lean and 1_1a will add 2%. Not really sure if I should even worry about it, but what the heck, I spent the money for the AP, I might as well use it, right?

What is killing me is reading your turbo posts - I have to wait - must have patience.

Hi Jeff, here's my update:

so you don't have to look back:
still runnin the 04MM turbo 3_5b -10% calibration
i have stock injectors
stock greddy kit (and stock greddy kit maf housing, 3.5")

after several days now and at least a dozen drive cycles, car runs really well at pedal position below 20%.
stft looks ok at idle, seems to average out close to 0. ltft is still very high neg.
anything with car under load, or pedal position over 20%, my aem a/f gets pinned at 10.0 (i guess it's the limit)

and it starts bogging so i can't really go into boost. i reported back earlier with AP uninstalled and running OE calibration, driving gently and not going into boost, car runs perfectly like stock. I was running rich when i used to have my emu installed with the stock greddy map, but relatively speaking it ran fine.

my bov is not recirculating yet so i get the odd backfire, and i also stall about 30% of the time at stops still. fuel mileage is down

so ... do i need some leaner calibrations? thanks

oh, and when looking at my ap a/f and aem a/f, it's not similar to mysqls, with mine, the aem seems a point higher all the time, and much faster

oh yeah, got the check engine light PO456 evaporative emission system leak detected (very small leak) again, but didn't clear it because i didnt' wanna go thru all the drive cycles again. can you disable this in the next calibrations you send out? thanks!!!

Apples to oranges.
Try that boosted and see how you like it.
The E-Manage does the same thing (but better) and it is pretty seamless on an N/A car.
Once you start adding air, there is a transition where you are no longer building on the stock maps. That transition is where the real tuning happens.

I flashed back to the stock tune and my AFR is PERFECT through the range. Never outside 13.0 to 11.1 past 5500. I'll be sticking stock for now until some updated tunes are released =/
yep...when i switched back to "stock style"....my afr are very safe now....even though my car is still pinging....

When, exactly, is it pinging?
What RPMs and throttle position?

throttle position ~40%~ to WOT, it starts at about 3k rpms then i cant hear it over my exhaust at about 4.5k rpm, so i cant tell if it stops or not.....my car hasnt lost any real power though....im still debating on what to do.....

Stage 2 results

I spent some time watching STFT and LTFT at idle and light load over the past few days and finally decided on x_3a as a map series. I am running a MS CAI and a midpipe. Moved to stage 2 today. Here are some results. Opinions?

Edit: Attached txt file with results for easier reading.

Probably a bit too lean around 7000.
You want to see 13.7:1 or so across the board.

Kind of what I thought. So how do I fix it? Move up one in the "a" series? Will this lean stuff around 7000 get learned out by the PCM in time?
