I still am sticking with the 2500 (OBO) SF winnings in Black. You even get a second set of tires....I think you could look for days to find the perfect wheels, but then they are going to be pricey. Anyone remember those 3-piece wheels we saw for Spice Boys car...then we saw the price of them....wowzers.

Get the Winnings in black...best of all worlds, especially light on the pocket.

I like the time attacks MUCH better then the SF's but it all really depends on what you like. If you see the SF's this weekend and like them, then I say get them. (as long as you won't be kicking yourself for it in the future)

What do those SF's sell for typically? If $2500 is that good of a deal, you could buy them, use then, and sell them down the road towards the Time Attacks if you want.

yes, I'm sure he could get the SF's, and then upgrade without losing much. If anything, he could drive with the SF's until he burned up the first set of tires, then sell the SF's with the second set of tires mounted to someone local....

he he, ok fine, there is one little tiny ding in the kick panel that no one would know is there unless I pointed it out.... and its on the drivers side... there you happy now?

recall update:

as I said before everything was fine for the recall. they reflashed and did all thqat fun stuff.

the headlights are still waiting approval for replacment from Mazda. the head tech does not think they will approve it as they denied the last RX-8. he said they are getting picky about that as they are expenssive. I told them that it has been this way since I baught the car, you can even check your records to see that I already braught it in once for this.

the tailights are even more of a joke. yesterday they said that they/ it did not have any water in them. I told them it must have dried out, but it had water in it when I droped it off. they asked that I briong the picture down that I told them I (michelle) took. today I brought then the picture, he said that could have been anyones car. and the right now there is no water in the light. they asked that I bring it back when it gets water in it again. I told them it had water in the light when I droped it off. they are submitting the request from mazda to have that replaced also...

I hate dealers.

oh and as for the smell..... live with it i guess. the cat passes the test so there is really nothing they are willing to do. at least the smell goes away after about 3-4 minutes. its really no big deal, just anoying. at least I have it on record that I complained about it.

yeah I know. he stared at the pic for like 10 minutes... I am thinking "dude, the lights are not going to dry on the pic no matter how long you stare at it."

I will fight harder if they deny it. for now I figured I would just let them try to get them replaced.

oh and yeah, I felt like he was calling me a liar to... thats why I said, well it was fogged up when i got here and droped off the car. if he says it again if it gets denied I will say "its not my fault your service wrighter didnt take notice when he pulled up the car."

I am waiting for them to deny it, then wash the car (I didnt know they were going to wash the car and fill up the tank... that's cool!) and the light fill up. I am going to laugh my *** off if that happens.

It's kind of old, but I just added the video the Casey made last year sometime, to my youtube videos.
It's just easier to direct people to there than to download it from my site.

@ speed: i'm just technical support for now. bottom of the totem pole. it's all gravy though. i get to work in a nice air conditioned office and also from home :D.

@ jedi: my discount won't kick in until after my 90 days. and i'm barely starting day 3 in about 3hrs. . and basically i get the same prices as new egg, except that i get to save the money for shipping and i get the card right then and there, lol.

the 6800 is a good card . do you know which model it is? is it AGP or PCI-E? upgrade to PCI-E if you don't have it yet. when you want to that is.

@ michael: all gfx cards have memory on them, but i'm sure you already know that . ATM the 7 series is using hynx and infenion memory chips depending on which model 7 series card you get.

guys got anymore questions for me guys? kevin?

Xrider: it's a PCI-E that Krazie hooked me up with. It rocks for playing WoW but now that my laptop has a 7900, my desktop is getting jealous....haha!
