As for a crack...the tech was not able to locate a crack. There is nothing noticeable on the front or back of the rim.

keith, i seriously hope that everything is all well with erica's car. as for any problems with my rims up until our exchange, it had been problem free like i had said over the phone.

keep us updated on this.

When I get home tonight, I am going to put the Hiros on the front of my car. I'll drive with them a little to see if I can get the problem to occur on my car...if not, I'll drive them to work. Boy, won't I look silly with 3 Volks and one Axis.

I haven't heard back from ERica whether the problem has occured since she picked her car up yesterday afternoon on my autocross set of stockers.

If you don't know how to get the thumbnail as your avatar, how would reposting the image help?

Maybe this will help -

right click on one of the thumbnails...save as (save to your desktop or whatever)...then it will be the right size/format for you to upload it as an avatar.

Unless of course, you're using a Mac. In which case you need to buy a computer, then you'll be able to right-click.

That was quicker than I thought. (4 mins)
I figured you'd chime in when I made that crack, but it's almost like your Mac Radar went off.

I'm really just jealous of your superior video/audio abilities. That's why I make fun of Mac's.

<lol> well, it'll be interesting to see in time whether the mac is a viable hardware platform for running windows as well. but, yah- the single button apple mice are pretty useless...

OK - last try.
When you post a fullsize picture, it makes a thumbnail version that you see in the actual post.
The thumbnails are "SMALLER" versions of the fullsize picture.
They are perfect for avatars.
If you left-click the thumbnail, it's a link to the fullsize picture. It takes you to a new page, and shows the fullsize picture which would not work for an avatar.

However, if you right-click on the thumbnail, and "Save Picture As...", it saves the little thumbnail picture, which is what you need for your avatar.

Look at the post keith just did with the 3 pictures of your car.
Right-click the 1st one, and select "Save Picture As...".
It pic is called Lesper6.jpg, and it's less than 3kb in size, and 100x75 pixels.
Perfect for an avatar.

That took to long to type... I see you've figured it out. Looks good.
