oh come on.....you guys must not be really looking at the sigs...because no one has given me any comments on Cesar's yet. Take a closer look at it and get back to me. Oh, and obviously Snowfl8k can't respond, because she already knows what I'm referring to.

That's okay, I went to your myspace page and country music started playing! I quickly closed the window (becuase my volume was on really loud) bu it kept playing!

Meshell,
Happy birthday!
Sorry I missed the party, I was in Vegas this weekend.
BTW - Your name is on the front page of the forum under "Today's Birthdays".
Enjoy your time in the spotlight.

Keith,
Love the sig you made for me. It would be perfect if it wasn't for that Big Boy at the bottom. Not referring to the Big Boy holding the burger, but the Big Boy that ate all the burgers.

Jedi54,
I can help you also. I've removed the radio so much, I can actually remove all the bolts and wire harnesses without looking.
Assuming we have all the right connections (Speeddemon32 ) and tools (cesaralaniz ) it takes about 30mins.

*****Speeddemon32's Mod*****
It's called the AuxMod.
Here's the thread.
I was on a long waiting list for this product. It was made by some 8 owners specifically for the radios in the 8. When I was notified that production had finished, and that I could purchase mine, it was too late for me.
I had already blown my radio, and installed an aftermarket headunit, so I no longer needed it.
I recently got a second chance to purchase email, and offered it Speeddemon32.

*****Solo2 Event*****
Yes I plan on being there, and for those who may or may not know.
Registration for Dec 10th Event, has been announced.
Here's the calender.
Now, for those that don't like to follow links, here's what you need to know.

I obviously saw Bob, and I noticed the middle picture on the filmstrip has me driving in Europe somewhere on the wrong side of the road. Did I miss anything else?
I looked for a Terra Cota Soldier in my passenger seat, but I didn't see one.

Sorry guys about the pink and music. My music you can pause. There is a pause button. Just turn down your volume first so you don't get it yelled at you.

I sent an e-mail to the registration person at this solo2 event asking her if we can all send in our checks together. I asked if this would help insure that we all got in as a group. I'll let you know what she says. :D

Cesar, I can remove either of the Big Boys if you would like...it's easy to do once I get home.

Today should be the day we get the dash kit in the mail (cross your fingers)..of course I will take pics if we get it today.

Solo2....I'm writing my check right now..who is it made out to (oh I know...Cash, right? ). Is this how the previous event was...mail in a check? Sounds like an old school wya of doing things...when they gonna get on the Paypal bandwagon?

Sig - It's cool the way it is. If I think of anything I'll let you know.

Kit - If you do get the kits, can I come see !

Solo2 - Most of them are done this way,but it depends on which group is sponsoring that particular event, and what they decide to do for registration.

Check for Solo2 - You can't just make the check out to solo2, you have to spell it out. C-E-S-A-R-A-L-A-N-I-Z. I can mail if for you too.

OK - That is great news.

I'm definitely planning on going to this. I wanted to go to the Evo School, but they were full, now I'm on the list for next year.

Will you be in San Diego? As an instructor?

Yes I will. We will also have Randy Noll, top RX8 racer and EVO instructor.

Even if you are not a card holder send in your entry right away. They only have like 6 people on the Novice list and one on the standby list.

Attention possible Solo2 Attendees!!!

Based on new information, maybe we should re-think our Solo2 practice event and consider the school in San Diego instead.

I could use some training on improving my driving at the autoX stuff.
The practice is fun, but if I'm not driving correctly, I'm just training myself to drive wrong.
I'd rather learn what I should be doing so the next solo practice, I can work on those skills.

I know you 909ers cant get out of this thread and bother to read the other stuff in this section... There is also an event this Fri, Sat and Sun at California Speedway. Fri is a practice which it full but stop by and say hi or catch a ride. Sat is a Ladies ONLY school, still room left, this is a great chance for girls to try it out without the men to drive them nuts. Sun is a regular open event, come on out.

I still don't know if this is something I'm gonna get myself into yet. I was hoping to do the practice day in December to see if it was something I was able to do. Then maybe go to an instructional course. I can imagine that you and KC would get more out of a course than I at this point, as you guys have already done the practice events. Just let me know what you guys decide. I definately want to go with others, as it would be a long day without company.

well, now I feel better, that makes three who have seen the big boy. It took me about 40 minutes to find the original Big Boy Miata post..but it was well worth the wait, as it was a totally necessary part of his sig.
