i'm prolly one of the few peeps that really loves the stock look of the 8 all-around. so much so, i almost couldn't decide whether to add a spoiler or not- LOL. but, am happy i ended up getting the spoiler and forgoing the appearance, which i originally wanted.

the MS kit has a very unique look to it- aggressive, mean, sporty- which i can totally see why so many people love it. and, it's great that everyone has different looks on their cars- definitely makes for a more colorful meets this way.

First boosted 8 in the group. Hope to see it soon. You definatley will be a high autocross group now If you end up getting rid of some of the parts you've just installed, let me know. Like intake or pulleys....whatever doesn't go with the new boosted setup.

ok, finally found the web site for the company in City of Industry that sells some rear bumpers.

Some feedback please.

Stick with the MS style one. I like the black one - but it doesn't really go with the rest of your lines. Plus - I like the added vents behind the wheel well

Thank you for your input...now I just need to figure out if this actually fits the same as the true MS rear. I'm worried that this is actually shorter (higher from the ground)...I'm looking at how much of the exhaust/mufflers are exposed in both shots.

Spice, can you give me some feedback on this?

Nomorepistons...does this look the same as your rear (other than the slits of course)?

silver porbabley has the best lines (ms i think) but the gray is nice to where the license plate is tucked under neath the full bumper but does look a little bulky.

That would be awsome Michael. Make sure you come on Saturday because it is a practice event and we can have passengers ride along with us. We should be there pretty much all day Saturday. We tech early in the morning. If you want to hang out and have some doughnuts, come around 8:00. We get half our runs before lunch, and the other half afterwards. Then "fun" runs if time permits.

Sunday is the championship event. Not as fun since you can't ride along.

We'll be at the California Speedway in Fontana. It is free to come and watch, and free to ride along. Hope to see you there.

IMO, of the ones shown, the one on the left looks best. however, i prefer the MS bumper over those any day. The stock bumper with the rear water guards (is that what they're called) like both our cars have looks good too IMO.

hehe.. i assure you... i exist. i try to come around as much as i can but work gets in the way often.

as for the run, them boys hit the hills LATE. we didnt get to highway 138 untill almost 2 AM. we had a few miatas, subarus (old and new), 1 evo, 1 m3 and a few 240sxs. from what i heard, it was pretty messy behind us. lots of spinouts and the miata behind me either broke down or crashed.

we waited for them to catch up at the top of arrowhead for about 10 min before we turned around to find the second half but they must have turned around at the end of the red road.

i dont think ill ever go with them again. some of those cars were pretty loud and it was a HUGE group. if there were CHP up there we would have been in deep "you know what". i also found myself driving way out of my comfortzone at night trying to keep up. . the whole thing was just too risky.

^^ crazy stuff! that late doing that kind of driving is just plain dumb! during the day, i can understand, but if one is not comfortable doing that kind of driving in the first place, they should turn back ASAP.

I prefer driving like that at night. you can see head lights around the corner at night. not during the day. when I was young and stupid (as if I am old now) we would always run hard at night. during the day is for cruising!
