SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
FRIDAY MAY 17TH
MEET & GREET
Where: Circus Circus parking area behind The Adventure-dome theme park.
When: 3pm to 8pm
Greeting, registration and begin vehicle staging for car show.
PARTY AT THE CIRCUS CIRCUS
Where: Circus Circus Hospitality Suite
When: 8pm to whenever
Party will be BYOB with horderves, chips and dips supplied by WHiV6.
SATURDAY MAY 18th
ROTARY SHOW
Check-in begins at 7am
Show 8am to 1pm
This year the rotary show will be held in the parking area behind The Circus Circus Adventure-dome. There will be several categories depending upon the cars registered prior to the event. Repus, old school, 7’s, and 8’s will be judged separately. 7s may be broken up into first, second and third gen vehicles if preregistration shows a sufficient number. All rotary vehicles registered in the show will be eligible for trophies.
TROPHIES, RAFFLE, AND FOOD
Raffle tickets will be sold at the meet and greet on Friday and during the car show on Saturday. Drawing for raffle prizes, announcement of car show winners and presentation of trophies will be done at conclusion of car show.
For attendees convenience there will be food vendors available during the show as there will not be a lunch as in past years.
ANNUAL CRUISE
2PM
Be prepared for an approx. 3hr drive
Valley of Fire

At Hotel Party
In past years we have the Saturday night dinner get together at a local restraunt. This year we will have the party outside the adventure dome in a secure area. There will be a DJ or live band and plenty of seating.

SCENIC CRUISE
We will have a short cruise to a scenic area to be announced

that may point us towards the trunk being released somehow without reason(the amp draw was reasonable for everything except the trunk issue, it was in the neighborhood of 5-7amps with the trunk not latched and .070amps with it latched. average limit is .050 amps with the car asleep but at .070 amps draw it would still take weeks to discharge).

dont know if they will call it rx7 but rumors say sometime 2017. i did find this a while ago which leads to much hope of a rotary powered car coming back soon...

I've researched the hell out of this for the last few years, here's the short and sweet:
16x engine, 1.6 Liter rotary (MAZDA:16X | The Rotary Engine)
Modified Miata wheelbase (being worked on with Fiat)
Skyactiv high-tensile steel all around
US most likely will get the 2-seater, Japan gets the 2+2 layout
Capacitators will be used for regenerative braking, like the new Mazda 6
Electric turbo has been talked about a lot, so forced induction hopefully
Starting price should be right over 25K
Release date is 2017, 50th anniversary of the Cosmo
any other details I missed, feel free to share links!

but then again, how ignorant of building a car do you have to be to have it burn down shortly after finishing it... i have never had a car catch fire. shows that any retard can dump a ton of money into flashy parts but still fail to build a car.

Just in-case anyone here locally is interested. I will be selling my 19" Rays rims from my 370z shortly. I put an add up on the West Region For Sale area. Let me know if you are interested. Not sure if fitment will work for the 8's but they fit on Scion Tc's so I don't see why not on RX-8's.
