They dont care about "clubs" I tryed talking to some young guy that took his 8 into peoples mazda he was just like oh yeah ok.

yeah I have seen a lot of 8 since I got mine and no one waves or acknowledges you. When I drove my wrx if another wrx or sti passed by we waved.

When I do drive my 8 around, people look at the car and they look away as soon as I aknowledge them looking. But, yeah most people in town who own a RX8 won't wave to say hey or nothing. But, you ever see me around you'll know I'll pull over and say whats up. :wavey:

i always get weird looks :( and i never see ne1 thats actually on here...if one of u guys gives me a weird look ima have to kik ur ass...thats a promise :)

well I am in a Blue base model with no tint currently and no plates just a temp tag. so I will continue to look and nod my head in hi untill maybe one day I meet someone from here :)

Cool. I'm getting a BBQ going next month looking at that 1st or 2nd sunday so keep an eye on this section.

I will try my best to get the 8 fixed in time, If not I'll still come and hang with you guys..

i saw you on the freeway twice before, once i want in my 8, and then i saw your car at MM a couple weeks ago but didnt see you. most people when i wave give me a "im to cool for you" look, i got the head nod once thouh lol

People in this town are just weird, you pull up next to an EVO, STI, or something else.. They all give you dirty looks, they all think they got better cars than our 8's. I'm sick of all those assholes, no respect at all. But, us 8 owners will meet soon and cruise or have a BBQ like Gilbert said.. Until then, you guys have a good weekend and drive save!

I see a few 8s running around, normally give the peice sign, but don't know if they can see through my tint... I then normally floor it and zoom away... Funny thing is I see more 8's when I'm not driving mine (we have a Mazda5 for a daily driver/grocery getter...)

YAY...no one ever see's me lol. I usually throw up the deuce (that was gangsta talk for the peace sign lol) but like someone else said...dunno if u can see it through the tint. Its not summer ne more so my windows will be down more often (dont have to use AC cause its not hott as hell lol). i think u guys should just follow me to say hi, but not in a stalker way lol....

I wanted to bring this thread back alive!! We had a few other local RX8 owners that posted on here, I wonder what happened to happened to them? Deuse? WRXtoRX8? Rotarynews.com?

I'm still around... Super busy with work, family, etc...
If someone wanted to put an event together, depending on the date/time, I'd be game... Maybe check out anything going on over at Vegasrotary.com and do something with the FC's and FD's in town...

I've been seeing a lot more RX8's out on the road. I seen some dude driving a yellow 8, I also seen a girl driving a gray 8 with some rims on it. We need to get more people together and then make meets and all that other fun stuff..

Anyone interested in some carbon fiber vents?? Also, maybe some carbon fiber door sills?

Leaving meadows mall couple weeks ago... and 8 pulled up next to me and immediatly gave me recognition.. and we even cruised together for awhile.. yesterday seen a yellow one and he gave none... makes driving so much funner when your cruising with another 8.. there was this new mustang GT with an exhaust that wanted to run me.. but I didn't dare.. especially next to a park in a 35 mph zone.. hell no.. but I'm always trying to give recognition.. and maybe stalk a little bit.. lol

Feb. 10th? or Mar. 10th? LOL :yelrotflm I'm thinking about selling it for 1/2 the price that I originally paid for.. So about $100-$125?! IDK, we can always make deals. I'm also thinking about selling my K&N intake, greddy front & rear strut bars, nology spark plug wires (NEW), NGK spark plugs... I wanna part it out, before I get rid of my 8.
