What do you think? Its a daily driver, how do you think it will look compared to stock?

thanks for your help
245/40/18 is better sizing and would fit fine but wider like 18x9 would be better

This is literally my old setup

go with 265/35 (or 275 if you get the right brand) and roll your fenders.

It'll work great

Thanks for the replies. I was thinking the 255 40 would fill out the wheel well a little more since I'm not very low, less gap from tread to fender. Am I wrong or will it not matter compared to the 275 35s?

ummm, yeah, i'm pretty sure 275/35's will fill out the gap a little better than the 255/40's.

by pretty sure i'm like......5....thousand percent sure it will.

Also kinda on topic, can Spacers be stacked for the perfect amount or is that a really bad Idea. For example stacking a 5mm and a 3mm for 8mm total?

Stacking spacers is really effective if you need help parking on mirrors or tempting the reaper.

Hi, I know this question is a little oFf the topic but I thought I would say it...
At college I met this guy who drives a rx8 so he had a nice set of rims ninja or something anyways I ask him what kind of staggered set up he had and he told me it was
18x8 +45 front/rear
With 225/45/18 F
Rear it was 255/40/18... So is it a little weird set up and it is ok to have it like that. Let me know what you guys think thanks

eh, depends. I've seen it done, it just has to be correct. I would never you two studded spacers though, thats just asking for it.

You shouldn't be using spacers without extended studs anyway. Thats the easiest way for a wheel to pop off while you're driving. And let me tell you, putting extended studs on is a bitch and a half, I had to do it.

Already replaced the studs with the arp ones, wasn't that bad really follow the DIY and be patient. Anyway, why would stacking them be bad? Its still the same amount of surface area at each face.

If you have the extended studs its fine. I wouldn't stack studded spacers, but small plates are okay.

Studded spacers are bad? Explain how you can't hard park with studded spacers.

Stacking spacers just seems like too many extra surfaces to vibrate things loose. If you are stacking to get a 2 or 3 mm difference, then I am sure there is a single one close enough to get you where you need to be. Before stacking to get to 8 I would find a 10 first. There are so many sizes available that you should be able to find the right one. I found 8mm on Amazon in 30 seconds for $24.

Thats not what I said. I said I wouldn't stack them. I use 30mm studded spacers on my winter set.

you know...a diameter n' width of the wheel, tire specs, suspension modifications n' willingness to modify fenders would be a good thing to include on your question...

that's sorta like going to the doctor and saying "I feel a lil' dizzy, DO I HAVE AIDS?"

Lololol. It makes my day when people try to skip straight to level 15 when they don't understand the basics.
