You are going about this the wrong way....find a wheel you like first and then compare those possible specs to what has worked. Also consider if you want lip or concave or widest wheels/tires possible, etc.

J8635621 well i want my coners to be functional, since it is my daily driver, but im looking for a nice stand, not too agressive to the point that the wheels passes the fender. but flush.
my idea was to start with th eibach pro kit for better handling, with a set of Tokiko shocks, eiback advertise a 1 to 1.5 ''drop , my wheel of choice will be the battle,

Rud you need to be as low as that car is. The corners can be modified to fit but they aren't able to be kept functional I believe. That setup is pretty aggressive. Are you sure you want something like that? I don't.

Ok so i decieded to go with:

XXR 521 18 X 8.5 +35

But now the guys are telling me i need new tires so what size should i go because next week im lowering my car on stock shocks with TIEN S Tech's.

How big of tires can i get to make it look as flush as posible without doing anymore than a fender roll. Can i get to 245/40/18's or should i just get 235/45/18's? I just want it to look as flush as possible with its lowered.

I don't have a set of 25mm spacers to see if the stock studs stick out.

Is there a 9 +30? Put 245/40 in either case

I can get away with 245/40's with only a fender roll once im lowered even in the front and i wont rub? Ive was searching the forum all day long yesterday and i couldnt find anything with anybody who has 245/40's with S-Tech's so i was gonna go safe adn just get 235/40 but i really wanted to go 245/40's

So you think i can do it?

With 8.5 +35? Look at slvrstreak's silver/black car. It has 19x8.5+30 with 245s (5mm more aggressive) on s-techs and I'm not even sure if he needed the fenders rolled.
https://www.rx8club.com/rx-8-parts-sale-wanted-44/jic-j-force-05-18x8-5-30-wheels-224280/ These wheels are pretty nice in that offset/size. Offer what you would pay on the XXRs and see what happens?

For just lowered on s-techs, I'd say 18x9 +30 with 245/40/18. It's super close to needing a roll, so some need it but most don't. Jantzenrx8's car with s-tech/konis and 18x9+28 which is virtually the same.

Thanks i really appreciate all the help. Yeah those wheels are nice the only problem is that i already have the xxr's on my car but when they were switching the stock tires over they found a nail in the side wall so they couldnt put it back on for me. So this whole weekend ive just been looking for tires that will fit on my car so ill look at some of hte 245/40's and see if they have them in stock tomorrow that i can drive my car. Thanks for all the help though really appreciate it.

Enkei PF01 18x9.5 will offset of 35 work(ik its low) or does it need to be closer to stock?
255/40/18
stock ride height but planning on coils later, so height can be adujusted depending on how much fender work i can do.
other tire size recomendations? i DD my car and plan on eventually doing some autox.

Tires too tall. 275/35 and +45 offset. Pretty sure there is a +45. No fender work needed

how much fender work would be needed if i were to go with a offset of 35 or 38? just a fender roll? or would i have to do a pull as well?

Won't look good at stock height and the wheel doesn't look "better" at lower offsets.

Lower the car first for those and expect rolled fenders and maybe trim the bumper tab. If it will be a while until you lower it, get the +45

I thought stock offset was more in the 40's. Guess I've been wrong before. Lol Thanks

Stock offset is +50....Even still, you think the stock wheels only have 10mm of clearance either way? Nah

well the lower the offset the closer the rim gets to flush correct? IMO it looks better, but i dont want to compromise too much performance for looks so i wont have ridiculous offsets or slam it. but i plan on lowering it shortly after i get wheels if not befor getting wheels.

I meant the wheel face doesn't change. No more lip or concavity. +35 and stock height is beyond flush IMO.
