Looks like a some progress was made since version 1, but unfortunately it seems many of the issues experienced still remain. Not surprising, though, given what Elliot emailed to me back in May during my build:

Yeah unfortunately there are few straight shooters in this industry and very little quality control and pride in craftsmanship. I hope you get your issues resolved. If and when you do, if you need help with the install don't hesitate to contact us.
Am I really an ******* for expecting a $7,000.00 + kit to be well thought out and manufactured well down to the finer details?

Not at all, IMHO. I had the same expectations. There are cheaper kits out there, which, from what we have found, are likely better for the money. I went this kit because I was told he was the best. I should have done some digging for myself and asked for references on the low-mount.

The main components of this kit are all their and are well done. It should perform well. I do think there will be long term issues with certain parts of it but only time will tell. I hope I am wrong. The issues with this "kit" can be easily resolved by a competent fabricator but I still think poor quality control is an issue and every one of these kits will present their own individual issues due to that.

Appreciate the offer. I got it in and running once already back in June so I don't anticipate any major problems getting it back in, IF I ever get parts back. Right now that is the big IF. After I made a big stink on the forum (which he could have avoided if he just took care of things in the first place) Elliot said he would fix the brace issue and plumbing around the battery for me, like he did for Hoss, and gave me a list of parts to send him. It was basically all the major components of the kit. He estimated 4 weeks turn around time. He signed for the parts on 8/2/2012. Still waiting...

It does work ok there but I way prefer it in the intake because , post turbo ,it will bypass air at part throttle and this in-turn delays entry into open loop (closed loop exit throttle) and can cause a lean condition . Also makes that hose blow off (if not well clamped) as many have experienced.

Do you think it has anything to do with using E85? I remember some import drag cars using it a few years ago and getting away with a lot more boost than usual on the same build.
