I knew that POS wasn't going to work the first time I layed eyes on it. Hoss is just a great guy with an always optimistic outlook so he gives everyone the benefit of doubt. Hopefully his politeness and patience pays off and the right thing is done and this remedied.

I wonder if the engine support /motor mount arm that comes with this kit could be used in building a better header? Does anyone know if they will sell just the mount?

I am sure he would sell it alone but why would you want it, it's a piece of crap?

You'd be better off going to a fabricator and telling them what specs you are looking for.

no i didn't. car is up on stands and i was "re-tasked" amongst other things.
however the only thing i saw was the tab that bolts to the motor mount, had bent. i guessing by eye-balling it, its 3/8 thick stainless. 1/4 shouldn't bend, well depending on what it's made out of and if it was hardened.

I wasnt able to get my mic in that space to measure.

I haven't heard anything from Elliot/Turblown since he signed for my parts back in August. I disputed with credit card company and they issued a credit.

How about you?

Well that's good. Are you going to fix the kit? I'm not sure exactly where Hoss is at with him, I think he is just going to get the stuff fixed locally though to avoid more headaches.

This is the email I got back in July. I shipped back the parts he outlined at my expense, pretty much all the major components including the turbo. He signed for them on 8/2/2012 and said it would take about 4 weeks. I emailed several times in August. Because of all the problems I suggested he consider letting me return the kit and I would even pay the restocking fee. On 8/27/2012 he finally replied and said he hoped to ship at the end of that week. I have not seen parts nor heard from him since, which is why I opened the dispute.

Subject: Re: Fitment Issues

Jason,

You will have to ship the intercooler, brackets, hotside piping, turbo manifold, turbo, and motor mount bracket back for these modifications. I will also change the intercooler brackets out for better fitment, along with a better design.

Not yet. I opened a dispute and got a credit back from credit card company. However, Elliot is challenging the dispute. So he's got most of the kit, turbo and all, and still wants to fight.

Ouch, i was under the impression you only sent a couple of items back. Well I hope you end up being made whole. Typically they side with the card holder though, so you should be good.
