He tried another one for a small portion, and I said I would not ship anything back until he signed a consent form. I even still I sent him photos of everything fixed. I even went above and beyond to ensure there was no possible way I would hear from him again. Never heard from him again. He got in way over his head, and blamed it on us.

P.S. I paid for all the return freight on the fixes for his stuff.
I had to put my waders on just to read your post there is so much BS. Enough people have experienced how you operate and seen your product to know the truth. You post pictures of crap and you make ludicrous statements like:

"The turbo kit was designed for optimum performance, not optimum fitment."

I think this is funny too:

"Pretty easy for some of you guys to sit back and knit pick things when you have NO idea what it takes to build this stuff."

Seeing as how you yourself don't even know what it takes, as you said yourself:

" Its hard to commit to a timeframe when I really have no idea what all it takes, I haven't done this before."

You did not fix everything. I filed a dispute at the end of August after you kept the parts for a month (which I paid to ship, don't lie and say you paid for it) and stopped responding to my requests for status. I didn't get another update from you until October 22, nearly TWO MONTHS after I filed the dispute at the end of August. At that point you sent some photos of a crap motor mount, some pipe on a bench and the intercooler mounted with some "better design" mounts which were a couple pieces of thin aluminum bar stock welded together. You then held parts hostage and said you would not ship unless I dropped the credit card dispute. You have failed to resolve fitment issues thus far, so why would I have any confidence this time around? You NEVER test fit the ENTIRE system. Some photos of parts on a bench are supposed to convince me now?
The only reason you made an attempt is because you were under pressure from the bank, as you put it:

"You need to sign, date and fax back the two PDF forms in order for us to ship the package. It is time sensitive, as we have to respond to the charge-back by this friday, or we will not ship the parts."

And who wouldn't file a claim when the merchant keeps the parts AND the money? If that is your definition of pulling a fast one then it only further erodes your credibility. Of course I have not dropped the dispute. You are just trying to paint yourself in a better light for the rest of the forum with more of your BS. You might want to watch what you post, especially things that are officially documented otherwise.

And if you are such a credible vendor then why is it that you would not respond to the BBB and now have an "F" rating? If you really felt you were right then why not respond and tell them? They tried you at your old and new address by phone and registered mail:

Turblown Review - Auto Customizing in Peoria, AZ - BBB Business Review - BBB serving Central, Northern and Western Arizona

Turblown Engineering Business Review in Anoka, MN - Minnesota and North Dakota BBB

If there are disputes with every company that makes turbo kits then there wont be any left. It happened to the 3g crowd.

But its obvious turblown needs to put there game up, he seems to be coming off as a political leader. When asked a question It wont lead to a full answer.

Disputes happen, it's how they are handled that matters. This thread is about the low mount kit but I also have another friend who paid back in March that is getting false deadline after false deadline, and still has not gotten his top mount kit. If he gets it within a year from payment I will be surprised.

Funny how Elliot can show up once in several months and blow a bunch of smoke but not actually back anything up...

Elliot let me lay it out simply: Have you kept the turbo kit i sent back for repair? Yes. Have you made all the repairs? No. Have you refunded my money? No.

Come back and prove otherwise. Until then the record stands that you are a thief.

I have been asked for 3/4 years now to make a low mount kit, there is a reason I resisted, its not an easy task.
Elliot, if it is so difficult then it sounds like you are the one truly in over your head. If you can't deliver maybe you should get out of the business and do something you can handle. Don't blame your incompetence on your customers.

No now he is blaming delays on having to attend the PRI show. I actually already knew he would use attending that show as an excuse. I am actually not surprised he is going on a vacation to Florida when he has paid turbo kits to deliver on and i am sure in his mind he feels it is well deserved for his hard work. It's funny how all these schmucks have the same Modus Oporandi.

It has taken a long time to get my kit thats for sure! i mean Elliot has responded to every message, and call ive made to him. I am just waiting for my kit to do a review of the quality. Since there isnt many review for the top mounts in fuel detail. I am excited.

Man I hope so. "next week" delays are pretty common excuses for him though but you of all people know that,

Has anyone else on the forum heard of people taking the gregs route and going with Scott's kit?

I don't know of anyone running it but I would assume someone else is beside gregs.

But then again that person might the same mystery person Turblown said was running his low mount kit with no problems yet he admitted that Slash's kit was the first kit he had made. And the fact that he says this kit was running on another car is pretty funny since he can't figure out the ******* engine mount bracket on the two kits we know he has built. Who knows what the real deal is but all I know is the dude is a ******* liar, straight up.

Ya Gregs has been pretty silent lately; I'm assumine he's still busy with work like he mentioned a while back; hopefully not because of something 8 related, specifically a turbo kit

I never ordered a turbo kit from MM. A friend of mine did. I believe he waited almost 3 years for it too.

Is getting all the disputed charges resolved in my favor what you call "not successful"? Interesting way you view success, but then I guess it lines up with the rest of your logic.

Like I said, you should be careful posting what is officially documented otherwise.

I am posting this so people can see the truth. Your dishonesty has been exposed.

Much displeasure doing business with you.

I don't understand what happenned...you still have the kit? or you returned it and then charged it back?

Wouldn't seem correct to keep the kit and then chargeback for it?

No, back in July Elliot agreed to repair the problems so I shipped the kit back to him. He signed for it August 2. I emailed a number of times requesting status and he never replied so in September I filed the disputes. It wasn't until October when the bank was putting pressure on him that he finally contacted me, but all the repairs had not been made. He still has the kit, he never shipped it back to me. I finally got my money back thru the bank.

Glad some resolve came out of this, are you planning on going a different turbo route slash or did this play it out of you?
