I'm pretty happy with my fugly omp shield. I also put the ceramic insulating material in between the shield and omp. I think this will do just fine. I also replaced a section of the lower rad hose with a ss mandrel bend over the downpipe. You can see a bit of it at the bottom of the photo by the o2 sensor.

Wheels got blasted, dropped off for pc the other day... Was so much easier to pay the $25 per wheel to have blasted vs trying to strip them myself.

Hopefully, he will be nice enough to help me emulate his set-up. Shouldn't be long before I start my own boost thread. Going to have bryan at BNR rebuild the turbo if i decide to stick with the greddy kit. He's roughly an hour from my house.

The wheels are going to look great btw. I got mine mounted and took her on a roadtrip. Picked up a nailed in each tire. Spun the right rear tire off the wheel. Luckily I was with a group of speed3's and speed6's. I borrowed a spare and started my 2hr trek home. got home and swapped my stockers back on. Time to order new tires

Haha ya must've the piece that was broken off in the hose was literally falling apart, not just a clean break. Anywho, hopefully the new rad will help with cooling!

Just finished putting in the eBay radiator. My review: welding is not the greatest, but not horrible. I felt inside the upper hose pipe I can feel where some welding rod is poking in. The upper fan holes were off by a little, but I just drilled out the fan mounts. I had to bend the upper mounting tabs to get the upper mounts on, not a big deal. The upper hose pipe is not at the right angle so the upper hose doesn't lay nicely. All said, it has a few fitment issues, but nothing that couldn't be addressed. For $150 shipped I think it was definitely worth it! It's definitely a bit thicker than stock, so should have more cooling capacity. I just drove it around the block, no leaks yet. With the lower temp thermostat I am actually concerned it may run too cool, but I'll wait and see.

Not trying to be a *** but ....................... why review a product that has no brand ? Or is 'E bay radiator ' a brand ?

I guess calling it a review was a poor choice of words. My "experience with an eBay radiator" may have been a better way to put it.

Finally had decent enough weather to get the car out for a bath. Unfortunately, more snow again today... Anyway, here's some pics with the black wheels on. Planning on lowering the car a tad.

Thx. Had the fenders partly rolled, no rubbing ATM. Def need a drop and camber the fronts in. Should've pulled the fronts in before but was in a rush. I have a few things in the works prior to spring

Its about as low as I can go and still get out of my driveway. It scrapes a tad even at an angle.

turbo needs a rebuild. I'm going tomorrow to talk to a local about rebuilding/upgrading. If the price isn't what I want then I'll just head from there to BNR(just over an hour) and drop off my turbo for a rebuild. I bought a dual vent gauge pod today. I'm ordering gauges once I figure out who has them at the best price.
I'm not sure which BOV to go with. Can you get a sound clip of your SSQV? I've always liked them but I'm leaning towards greddy type-s for some reason. I think I'll like the greddy when recirc'd more. Should be boosting sometime next month, I hope. I feel like I've been talking about this forever and it just hasn't happened yet. I did realize that the only thing left from the greddy kit I picked up will be the intercooler and manifold....I should have haggled hardcore on the price lol
