10 year anniversary of my first post - still running strong and still fun to drive!
So we seem to be getting an early thaw which means roads have been nice and I've been able to start driving this project around. Still got work to do, but figured I would share progress to date and some photos. I picked up a brand new PTP kit on ebay, minus the turbo, bov, wg and misc pieces. I added a Comp Turbo CT4-6062 with a .81 A/R hot side. The PTP kit comes with a 3" intake, so I redid all that 3.5" all the way to the compressor, where I have a 3.5" to 4" silicone elbow. I added an HKS SSQV bov, only because I was trying to replicate what came with the kit, along with a TiAL 38mm wg with a .3bar spring to stay real low while starting to tune. I recirculated the bov. So far it idles really nice, like stock averaging 5g/s. Still got lots to do, but having fun... I lost an OMP line earlier this week, more on that in next post...

After having this car for 19 years I am selling it. It's been a blast but I'm just not into cars like I used to be... Still running and looking great! Search for turbo RX8 on Facebook and it will come up.

Is this a joke? I know you've had it for quite some time and have put oodles of time, love and money into it. Why get rid of it? why not park it in a garage and rub it with a diaper every few months?
Also, i searched for turbo RX8 on FB.... i have found nothing.

No joke, but yeah it has been a blast over the years! My wife thought for sure she'd have to bury me in it
But the reality is that it has already has been sitting in the garage for the last couple of years. I take it out now and then but it's not the same passion as it used to be for me. With the kids all moved out now my wife and I are doing more traveling and I just don't feel the call to the car all that much anymore. I figured I'd see if it could bring someone else as much joy as it brought me, but if it doesn't sell that's fine, it can continue to sit in the garage and I'll likely still get it out for a Sunday drive every now and then.

If you would be willing to part with only the Ingalls Stiffy torque dampener, it would go to a good home of another long-term Rx8 owner. Please let me know and PM me if its something you would consider. I've been ISO of one for many years now.
