Replacing OMP lines with SS or tubing?

I did a search couldnt find anything pertaining to this.

I recently bought the Sohn adapter. Everything works great, I was just wondering if anyone has though about replacing the lines with something that fits a little bit better. Seems as if the lines are stretched out pretty good, I actually broke two putting it in. It was rather cold when I was doing this so that could have been a factor.

Anyone tried or thought of trying something like SS or metal tubing to make the lines fit a little better?

someone did that before. You can always fab your own , just keep the head from the old lines, bring it to some hydralic shop and ask them to make one. shouldn't cost too much.

Yeah, he had issues with them and went back to the OE lines.

I have a good low mileage set of OE lines if you're interested in purchasing them

you can get a set of SS lines with a lifetime warranty from rotorsportsracing.com.

The lines are special order and last I inquired a set is $185 plus shipping.

The plastic lines are somewhat see thru and you can verify flow visually. You lose that (obviously) with the SS lines.

you have them or you were the person I'm thinking of who had problems?

or both I suppose, seem to recall they were either canned or sent back for a refund, but again my memory is crap sometimes
