Are you aware that the owner's manual has the deflood procedure? Hold the gas pedal completely to the floor while cranking the engine in ~5-10 second intervals, repeating 5-10 times. Crank engine to start normally.
Alternatively, you can pull the fuel pump fuse or disconnect the e-shaft sensor while cranking.
Keep in mind that flooding is a symptom of a deeper problem. For example if a weak battery caused the flood, deflooding won't fix the battery and it could just be re-flooding when you try to start it. Same with ignition failure, starter dying, and engine compression loss.

Why pull the fuse or the sensor? Shouldn't you be holding the pedal all the way down anyway? Then there'd be a delay when you hop out to reconnect things when you get to Step 3.
