There is more than one hose that goes into the only upper intake manifold. Pictures or a very detailed description of the end you do know would help.

Grabbed this off the web, ignore the circled hose unless that is actually the one you need.

The hose is one of the three hose on the air intake. The hose asking about is the only one that goes behind the upper intake manitake. I dont know the hose actually plugin manifold.

risen, if Team is correct, then you need to look for the valving that the hose would naturally reach over near where the UIM meets the LIM.

I suppose it could also be one of the three hoses that come around to the accordion, when he said "three hoses" I immediately thought of the solenoid valves for the VDI, SSV, and air injection valve

I've seen it happen a few times before. I've never figured out why. A loophole in the code somewhere.

something to do with lag and the code never checks for proper input I think.

i typed something, the system page check saw that I input something, but when I quick reply, lags a bit, the system probably didn't get my text but still go ahead and made a "post" ?

bug in systems happens all the time, one time I was logging into MMS site ... and I logged into somebody else's account with my username/pw ... a guy who drives a Miata living in MD or WI I forgot, scary, lol

here you go, the three solenoid hoses are colored, the three accordion vent hoses aren't

PS: It wouldn't hurt for you to try and use the search engine, you might just learn about more than just your immediate issue

Ok, one of those. Mind telling us which one is disconnected? I assume that the end that is still connected is in that pic.

that's very important and needs to be fixed immediately, you do not want dirt getting in there

Yes I know Ive been lucky that i hasnt messed up my car. Since the hose was been disconnected my car has been running lean. Is there anyway I reconnect the hose myself? Ive looked all over the back of the upper intake manifold and I havent found where this hose connects to.

it's underneath the black plastic upper intake manifold, which you'll need to remove to reach that area and address it
