I believe they are specifically to **** off anyone taking them apart as once you have successfully removed the race from the shaft all the rollers are specially designed to immediately pop out of the race and scurry under the cabinets, behind upright shelving, or fall through drains in your floor making your once useful bearing a paperweight.

that kinda reminds me of disassembling a spring loaded mechanism - you carefully prize it apart then suddenly CHING , TOW , PING , PLONK your spring has gone to a place no man can find .

Actual settings will be all over the place because a lot depends on how hard your actuator spring is wound up , what boost valve you are using etc etc .

yep, sounds just like my one experience with them...

but what exactly is the reasoning for them? more bearin surface area thus more distribution of bearing stress???

Put my wimpy Greddy on over the holidays -

Greddy kit, coated downpipe, coated midpipe, Borla.

Custom intake and maf, with a huge intercooler, and a Greddy blow-off valve.

Six Prosport gauges, three on top and three in an RB ashtray pod, with switched color options, red, orange or white to match stock gauge daytime look.

Not tuned yet, it's still minus 30* out, and there is no dry pavement......but soon!
