Yeah for the 20 minutes of work involved, it is a HUGE HUGE HUGE advantage. For the bigger 3071R I would say it is required though Jeff can do it without taking it off. You basically double the working room in there.

updated my thread again, im running rich now in every gear while in boost. 11.1's all the way.

is this a sign of coils giving out? is there a way to test the coils? i have 40k on original coils.

that's a long way on stock coils so i would replace them . It is probably not your problem though .
have you done anything to your car since it was running lean ?

Guys, change of plan for sending my turbo out to Tim's turbos.

It is a bit more pricey, but I think it will be worth it. I will fill you in on all the details later.
For now here is some of the specs:
- Machine compressor cover
- Install larger comp 28g wheel (higher CFM)
- machine hotside flange at the downpipe to increase flow
- Clip the exhaust wheel to reduce back pressure
- port wastegate
- Balanced the Rotating Assembly and Thrust Bearings

how would the weather affect it that much, and so quickly? I don't know...maybe it would, I guess if it that is the cause, I would like to know why and what can be done.
