Another Top Mount Setup
Race gas. We just finished a check over including a comp test. Everything looks great on the car.
I had almost forgot about the race gas... makes me wana ditch work so I can go see. U have faith that it should run. if this gets 510hp+ then I know I could be able to touch numbers with a fully built motor.

We are.....

I've taken the price off our site in attempt to have more Rx8 owners talk to us so we can explain in detail how we strive to build the best turbo kits on the market. In addition to this we like to show how well we respond to emails/phone calls, and how much we value customer service.

If you use race gas only as a "tuning aid" to tune a motor, let's say 50% pump and 50% C16 (or whatever ratio), you will no doubt be able to safely extract more power from the motor because you will be able to run higher boost, more timing, lean out the mixture a bit, etc. because you've increased the knock threshold, etc. right?
Then, you go and run that motor with only pump gas it will more than likely experience a catastrophic failure because you've removed that added "insurance", because you've tuned it for 50% pump/50% C16, right?
So why use the race gas at all then? Just tune with only pump gas or only race gas and have two maps.

Again, there is a totally different process when a tuner is tuning his own car vs. a customer car.
Found out the intake is good to 27psi.....
Boost controller failed, even being prior inspected. No dyno.
