Regarding torque at these levels:

1. Transmission: Do we have data for what max torque the transmission can handle?
2. Eccentric shaft and stationary bearings. Same question as above.

Doesnt rotor housing coating have a history of flaking? How did yall solve that? Ceramic seals would go well with that coating?

Have yall done a low compression build with rx7 rotors yet?
Mine is starting hopefully this week---with the goops. I too like the more rounded point etc.

On the flash back heat on decel with the apv's open? Its real. I measured charge temps at the lim-uim junction and you will see a 200 degree F jump in the lim runners after heavy acceleration past 7K rpm and sudden lift of the petal. Gas or no gas. You will also peg the vacuum gauge. Intake port timing around those events was around 15 degrees.

Transmission isn't an issue at these power levels with street tires, but it depends on the condition of them. I have seen oem Rx-7 trannies take 600+rwhp, and some that are beaten hard not take 400rwhp...

Will have pixs soon, still busy sorting out the new shop...

The majority of most coatings I have used flack off.. Not these....

Haven't done the low compression rotors yet, to my surprised I haven't seen a need for it yet. Not a bad idea for a track vehicle however. High intake temps don't matter without load...

Thanks for the feedback man--yall do some great work.
What concerns me with the intake temps like that is, I also run water meth. I didnt like that combo I only run a 50/50 blend but still..........!!

Have yall looked at the SSV and the possibility of keeping it open?

Jamaal's Engine is finally out. Waiting on some more engine stands to show up, as all the other ones are full...

Both 6 port sleeves are covered in oil, I bet both rotors are trashed...

Mine goes on the dyno May 21st. Interested in seeing what the GT35 turbo will do on the esmeril manifold. Wondering how safe i want to play it or should play it. I am thinking 15lbs or 400whp whatever comes first lol.

Let us know how that turbo works

I will post pictures of the engine.. We weren't on the dyno when it blew. Felt pretty darn good to Jamaal and I

I would say north of 500rwhp...

They always say, the car runs best right before it goes. I'm sure that was the case here.

I know u have the highest power rotary that has proof of high numbers. I was talking with a person that was from Rico and he builds on 7s and 8s he said if want above 500hp to run a Hal tech because Cobb is t able to support that much power. Quote me but t-beezy aka turblown the only shop I see tryin to break numbers.
