Yep... I can attest to a 13.6 at 107.0 mph stock, and that was my third time to race it. That's not even a good time for a stock GTO. Trapspeed was solid.

No, not the prettiest. But I bet it feels fast.

Hog wash. You guys are forgeting something simple... area under the curve. Peak horsepower doesn't mean much if you don't have a good power curve across the RPM range. The RX8 doesn't deliver that N/A. Overlay that stock Mustang's dyno sheet over one from an RX8 and it'll become very apparent why it makes it into to the high 13's.

yax... is TORQUE also another simple thing that we might have forgotten?

i understand the HP/weight ratio comparison they're trying to make.... but what about the torque comparison between those cars?

all those muscle cars built for drag racing aren't exactly light the torque department...

Yep. This is very true. Too much dyno racing and bench racing on the internet makes people forget what wins races.

If yo want to run 13's make sure your dyno sheet looks someting like this.(Dyno Dynamics). In order to achive this make sure you are willing to spend several thousands of dollars for parts and tuning............................................ ................

Or you could just buy a 07/08 350z and dyno 283 RWHP stock and run low 13's all day..... Your choice.
