South Carolina Role Call!!!
We seriously need to get everyone together for a good turnout. Sounds like there are a lot of 8's in the Columbia, Charleston, Greenville and surrounding areas. We need to set a date and location far in advance so everyone can have an opportunity to get off from work. A good summer meet would be sweet....anyone interested?

Hey, here's something for y'all to go and do this weekend...

For two years in a row, CarolinaRides & ProDyno have welcomed spring's return with a huge Dyno Day - this year will be no different!
http://www.carolinarides.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=19875
THIS SATURDAY, April 21, CarolinaRides will have their ProDyno at ProDyno's NEW shop, right on the NC/SC state line! For those of you needing directions, their address is:
3545 Center Circle
Fort Mill, SC 29715
Come and find out what kind or horsepower and torque YOUR ride makes! Price is $40 for 3 dyno pulls with wideband O2. You get a printout of your results, as well! Keeping with ProDyno tradition, this is yet another SWEET deal for CarolinaRides members. Thanks Dan & Rob!
Dyno signups will be done the day of the event. When you arrive - sign the list quickly! The earlier you sign up, the sooner you'll dyno. The first car will be on the dyno at 9am sharp, and we'll stick around until midnight if necessary to get every last car on the dyno! Food & drinks will be provided.
All makes and models are invited. Last year we had all different kinds of cars - from mild to wild, imports to domestics, trucks to cars, nitrous, superchargers, turbos - you name it! If you just want to come hang out - feel free. You do not have to dyno - we'll use this as a Meet & Greet and Cruise-In, as well.
Bring your friends & family and get ready for a fun-filled day of raw horsepower! Early arrival is advised, and don't forget your digital & video cameras. If you have any questions, please use this thread to ask them.
I hope to see all of you on April 21!

I won't be able to go - I'll be at Clemson, putting a new driveshaft into my son's FC.

I was there with my RX-7 (Last Picture, the FD). I plan to go to RX-8 Brotherhood of the Dragon with my (and better half's) '04 Black RX-8. ...I might take the 7 with me as well if you guys allow me to.
I'll take some picture of the 8 tonight or tomorrow after I give her a good bath.

You guys been checking-out our group of Track Ho's? Their most timely thread at this time is named "Roebling With Nasa-who Is Going? " https://www.rx8club.com/se-rx-8-forum-30/roebling-nasa-who-going-112214/
They are going to tracks all around us throughout the year. Carolina Motorsports Park (CMP) is in mid-July. That's just a tad north of Camden off of 521. Roebling is in Georgia, down in the Savannah area, exit I-95 just a mile or 2 south of the SC boarder. Road Atlanta seems to be a favorite, and for good reason, that place Rawks! Well worth the ride to the Hotlanta metroplitania. It's in the outer suburbian zone - northerly.
I must say, I have been outta touch, wow...
check-out this calander that SilverEIGHT is maintaining...

Not me but I do see a Winning Blue one around here (Newberry) sometimes.
My car is actually at Wray Mazda in Columbia awaiting a new engine right now. 8 trips there in the 6 months that I've had it - I guess they finally got tired of seeing me! Right now I'm driving a little Mazda 3 rental - I sure do miss my car......
Missy
I go to get my oil changes at Wray (for now)....is yours the stock looking Velocity Red parked out back??

You know that big hill that they have in their parking lot? My car actually cut off at the top of that hill last week and a salesman had to give me a push down it. They were in a hurry to get my broken down car from behind their new line of 8s!
I like the guys at Wray - they've been very nice and helpful to me even though I didn't buy my car from them.

my baby is FINALLY going into the shop tomorrow after an almost 2 month wait. my right rear door and quarter panel were thrashed after someone backed into my car in the parking lot in Columbia. Thankfully, he left his info and such and his insurance will be paying for the repairs, all $2600 of it. Finally, my 8 can look clean again.
Yep...that's mine. Been there since last Thursday.
